Reservations for 5 pm resulted in immediate seating, but the restaurant got busy between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. The server was friendly and attentive. The potato soup, baked potato, key lime pie, filet mignon, and filet mignon tips stood out as the best dishes. The bread and salads were just okay. One visitor's steak was of average quality, but they felt they got what they paid for. The service and staff were consistently friendly and great. The ambiance was perfect for a Thursday night, as it was not too crowded. The food was great, and the steaks were delicious. The New York steak was cooked beautifully and the ranch house potatoes were good. The lobster tail was one of the biggest. The grill at this place is worth the trip. Many visitors plan to return.
