Cafe Americano at Caesars Palace

I've been here a bunch of times. This most recent time, on Sunday, I had the salad with salmon. The piece of salmon was pretty pathetic -- especially for the price. Dry and very, very small -- maybe 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. It was a minute of cooking away from jerky. It was the first time that I have had anything sub-par at Café Americano in multiple visits, so it was surprising and disappointing.

Great spot for breakfast without having to venture out too far. Make a reservation if you can, it's popular for the convention-goers first thing in the morning. Took a little longer to get our book and get out, but we weren't in a hurry, so we got to enjoy some people-watching and coffee for a bit longer. Good portions.

Great place for the basics- nothing fancy but solid, good quality food Went two days in a row- first day at the bar Servers there were outstanding , attentive, very nice and efficient Same was true of our service on the second day when we sat in the dining room Only issue was the hostess on Monday who was simply rude and unfriendly I had made a reservation and that seem to set the attitude with her? Not sure why Didn't like the fact that she had to honor the reservation vrs simply setting the next party in the standby line? At any rate made us wait for several minutes, then sat a group in the standby line Gave us a nasty look and sat us at a table right behind the front desk which had been setting empty the entire time Worst table in the place due to the congestion Thank goodness for the wonderful wait staff

Fantastic breakfast and brunch. Fiancé enjoyed the avocado toast and arugula, while I had the white egg omelet and potatoes. Fresh orange juice and coffee hit the spot. Will be dining again.

The service was great and we were well attended to by Alex. We felt like it was a little loud in the restaurant, but that’s typical of casino restaurants. The plating was very nice as well.
