Luhena Restaurant and Bar

I always make it a point to visit Ethiopian restaurants when I travel, and I came here based on a recommendation I found on Reddit. I’m glad I did!

We ordered the special kitfo, shiro, and awaze tibs firfir, and everything was delicious. The kitfo was especially fresh and flavorful, and each dish was well seasoned and full of authentic Ethiopian flavor. It was a bit spicy for my husband but was good for me. The injera was excellent, and the bread served with the meal was fresh and tasty as well. The food reminded me of the meals I grew up eating while living in Ethiopia, which made the experience even more special.

If you’re hoping to try the vegetarian platter, I believe it’s only available on Wednesdays and Fridays, though they did have shiro available when we visited.

Our food came out quickly after ordering, which we appreciated. The only minor downside was that checkout was a bit slow, but it wasn’t enough to take away from the overall experience.

If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food while visiting Las Vegas, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

I went to Luhena with my brother. It was recommended by a local to Las Vegas as an excellent Ethiopian place. The service was outstanding our server and host were kind and helpful. The food was the best we had on our trip. The spicy lamb was our favorite.

Fantastic! We had the shiro wat and kitfo special. The owner stopped by the table to ask how everything was, and made recommendations. The servers were so friendly and attentive. We got extra gomen, and a complimentary digestive shot after the meal! Would recommend to anyone looking to experience delicious Ethiopian flavors and unbeatable hospitality!

This place used to be my favorite spot for Kitfo until place start to smell bad that we couldn’t sit for a second twice in 1 week, we complained about it but we were told it’s from outside . The chef is extremely rude unlike the dad(owner) .

I am sharing my bad experience this restaurant, bad customer service, no discipline and respect at all. They gave us cold food and also we told them to warm the food and refused. I never had bad experience in my life in America. This is awful place.

The food is outstanding—rich, flavorful, and authentic. Every dish is perfectly seasoned, with generous portions that make it easy to share.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s a place where you can enjoy a casual meal or settle in for a longer evening with friends and family.

The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to guide you through the menu if you’re new to Ethiopian cuisine.

Had dinner at Luhena Restaurant in Las Vegas last night and loved it! The food was great, the music was perfect, and the place looked beautiful and super clean. The staff were really friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Vegas — can’t wait to go back

When the food is so good, you order extra and the owners win your heart!
The kitfo brought back the sweetest childhood memories of Kitfo bets in Yohannes area in Addis Ababa, and the owners’ genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The mom cooks in the kitchen while the dad takes care of the customers a typical Ethiopian feeling brought from thousands of miles. The food was so delicious we couldn’t resist ordering extra and even though we couldn’t finish it, they were so kind and didn’t charge us for one of the dishes when we came back on another day. Luhen in Vegas, this is definitely one of our favorite spots! we’ll be back! 🇪🇹❤️🍽️

I love this restaurant

I always go there while I have friends and families from out of state, today I went with Keven from Nashville,?Tennese . He is his first time experiencing, i always love he waa also excited with the food , drinks and the services. Thank you so much for taking care us .
