“Just recently had breakfast at Strip View Cafe during our short stay in Vegas. We honestly just wanted to explore something off the strip because everything was too crowded and you could not simply sit and enjoy your meal. We were so pleased to discover Strip View Cafe where the food was really good along with a great service. The young lady who was helping us was extremely nice and gave some good advice on the food selection. Thank you guys !:)“

“Very nice owner, workers, and service. Can't find much places that offer quality nutritional dense food/drinks like this one. I got the protein peanut butter donut (I already ate it before pic lol), iced coffee, and banana nut pancakes. Everything tastes great! And they are very accommodating with your order (if you prefer pancakes over waffle, supplement add-ins, etc.) Definitely a gem of a business, and will be back soon to try their other menu items.“

RTS Courthouse Cafe Breakfast • $
333 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas

“This little cafe is on the entrance level of the federal court. And for a government offering, (albeit privately owned), it really is top notch. It is also a dive. The chef is, believe it or not, a classically trained culinary professional. He runs a tight ship for this little cafe. They offer sandwiches, soups, salads, muffins, and chips, as you might expect. But they also offer specials that are about on par with any of the hipster restaurants downtown. One of the most famous is the Adobo Chicken, a Filipino dish. It literally sells out in the building. (Call ahead to find out when they are serving it). They also do a mean taco salad! The cheeseburgers are small and plain, but cheap and consistently tasty. Think your neighbor's cook-out. But don't just think it is just office workers and poor saps going to court that seek out this yummy fare. The cafe has its share of followers who come to purchase lunch from the area. The cafe even sold "tickets" or passes for a recent pre-Thanksgiving themed lunch. Prepaid orders were $10 a plate, while at the door was $12, and a chance that they may have sold out of the meal (turkey, cranberry sauce and the like). If you come here for a case or jury service, absolutely give it a try. If you're in the neighborhood, and tired of all the regular downtown joints, or want something cheaper, give this place a try. No, it's nothing fancy, but decent food on a budget. (Expect to pay around $15 for lunch, about $10 less than anywhere else). There is spacious seating, and a few easy chairs, and a television. Drinks are coffee and soft drinks (no booze--it is a courthouse, after all). Keep in mind that you need ID to enter the building. But you don't have to be going to court to eat there. There is no table service, but the counter servers are kind and professional. Due to a program at the court, the people cleaning up in the cafe have vision impairment, or come from Opportunity Village, a center for intellectual disabilities. That's a win-win. They close at 3.“
