We loved everything about this place! The food was amazing, fresh and served promptly. We were immediately greeted by the owners who offered a gumbo sample to our family of 4. My husband was ultra impressed with the rich authentic flavors and my son even more by his perfectly seasoned lemon pepper wings. The location was a perfect size and location. By far the best part of our experience was the wonderful and sincere convo with the owner Cornelia. She went above and beyond to make our family feel welcomed and left satisfied. As first time travelers to Vegas with the fam, we will definitely share the word with our Buffalo fam/ friends that this is a MUST-DO when in the city.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Best friendly service and food! We started with delicious garlic parm wings and fries, cup of gumbo, oyster po boy, hot sausage po boy and catfish, shrimp and oyster platter and ended with a perfect bread pudding. Seems like we tried everything. It was so good we ordered gumbo to go. If you're debating on going, just go, you won't regret it!

I was so excited to come here but was very disappointed. We waited a very long time to get drinks after we sat down and about 35 40 minutes to get our food. I ordered a 8 Oz gumbo that came out in a im pretty sure a 4oz cup and it wasn't even gumbo it was broth and rice also it was 10 dollars. Our family also got the shrimp and catfish platter that was 23.45 that said it was 2 catfish filets and 4 jumbo shrimp.....we would say 1 filet and 4 medium shrimp it was very small for what they said was supposed to be on the plate and for almost 24 dollars (?) also a blackened chicken salad, wasn't blackened chicken it was season and cooked not blackened. The people who were up front were awesome and very kind just got a little upset when questioned if I knew what Oz were when I sent back the gumbo. Food was good just a little bland. I would recommend the sweet tea and the Cajun fries.

way too many bad things to write about this place from the 45min wait to the overly priced portions of food (the 2 filets of frozen catfish is 1 filet everywhere else, 'jumbo' shrimp are medium at best, no seasoning, blackened chicken was NOT blackened, cup of gumbo was 95% rice and 5% gumbo juice, no sausage, no okra, just juice,)UPDATE: ????im glad this was your response in a town known for customer service. congrats.

My wife & I were staying at the Mirage & we were trying to find a place to eat, it was either pizza or Cajun Mouth. I'm glad we chose Cajun Mouth, I looked at the pictures of the PoBoys & I was hooked. I got one shrimp PoBoy & it was so good I ordered another one, my wife got the shrimp & catfish platter. They also gave us a sample of their gumbo,, it was awesome, I would recommend it to anyone.. It reminded us of being in New Orleans. The service was awesome. I'm sorry I didn't take pictures, I ate the food too fast

My husband is from New Orleans & I think we found this spot over the summer & we’ve now been there about 4 or 5 times! I hope this place stay as a mom & pop with that down home cooking because we don’t have many like them in Vegas. The service alone makes us come back from the young to old workers the owner & her husband we are ALWAYS greeted so warmly!! Try them out
