Camino Real Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Have passed by here many times, month after month. Decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is actually very nice. I had a dish pictured, that had this special sauce covered over my chicken. And it was delicious. I also tried their whiskey sour. Or a form of it, and it was made very well. My wife had chicken tostadas. And she said they were made very well also. The prices are pretty reasonable, and most of the food tastes like it was made fresh. They do serve chips and salsa, with beans as a dip. I do recommend and we will be back. ??

Closed for some reason. Looks like cops were involved and a new owner will be taking over.

This was one of our favorite restaurants. Sadly, we went there on Tuesday March 5, 2024 and it has closed down ?

Just went there today 03-05-23...so disappointed to find out they have closed ? This was the absolute best Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas. I wonder what happened.

Great Mexican food, more on the MexiCal side than TexMex, & good margaritas. Service is quick and friendly. The dining area is spacious, super clean, and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. Prices are reasonable for the great quality food.

Our first time here and we will be back! The food is so good! The servers were friendly and checked on us appropriately. A man, I'm assuming the owner came to our table and asked how everything was as well. We ordered the guacamole, and they come to your table to make it fresh! Every entree was delicious, they make a great Paloma and the desserts were on point! Our new fave spot!

Food was excellent but the service was terrible!?

The main waiter was awesome, she is from another restaurant and knew us very well. But another guy asked if I needed a more of my Raspberry Tea, and the guy argued that what he brought back was Raspberry Tea when in reality was old non cabinated Pepsi and he argued for at least 3 mins and didn't speak English. Love the girl didn't like the dude.

Update: went for dinner 2/29 and there was a sign on the door that they went out of business. This place is now permanently closed.The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. Very festive and inviting. Great job with the remodel as there is no trace of the old establishment. Every thing is new and bright. The bar is beautifully lit.We came for lunch after 2pm on a Sunday. The place wasn't packed. We were served chips and salsa right away however it tools awhile to get our drink and food order. The service was really slow.I ordered the classic ceviche and avocado tacos. The ceviche was very good. The avocado tacos were bland. Flavorless corn tortillas, avocado, lettuce, and some cheese was underwhelming. They could have elevated them with a sauce.I ordered a burritoto to go for my husband and he really enjoyed it. He said it was the best burrito he's had in Las Vegas.I will go back. Hopefully the service will be better next time.

This is the best Mexican food I have had in as long as I can remember and the prices are very reasonable ?. I had the chicken nachos and it was very fulfilling. My son had the pineapple tacos and he loved it as well. The salsa is perfect. The waitress was very friendly. Very generous portions. Excellent I will be back.
