Carlito's Cuban Food

We drove from Hotel tp get a much advertised Cuban Pizza on Sat night 730pm. They were out of pizza ! Asked fr a cuban pastry ? Nope disnt have any ! Only 1 customer in the restaurant !

Quality went down a lot , cold food and expensive $64 for 2 persons and they will ask for a 30% tip on over the counter food .

I wasn’t too fond of this. Tried a few things and none were good in my opinion. I eat a lot of Cuban food and this was probably on the bottom of the totem pole. There was 5 of us and not one thought the food was good. Most of food went in the trash and we were pretty hungry.

Today 5/6/25 at around 7:30pm I Ordered to go and the three women at the register ignored me for at least 5 minutes and when one decided to help me her approach was cold and frankly rude. Sad because I have come here before and the service and food is always good. Leaving this on here because sometimes the owners are not aware what’s going on.

Fresh food, great cuban flavor, reasonable price, the owner came to say hi. We loved it.

I wish I had ordered here for Thanksgiving.

This is a pretty decent Cuban restaurant they have a wide variety of different foods, All the typical Cuban sandwiches and then they also have a cafeteria buffet style setup where you can make your own plate. The food was really good The reason why I took a star away was because the pricing was not clear at all. Many of the items had pictures but no pricing, and it was also not obvious exactly what you would get with some of the different prices.
For example, there were prices written on the glass in front of the item, like 14.99 in front of costillas. I asked a few times does that mean 1499 for just that item, as in a full clamshell of that or is it 1499 for one plate where that is the main item and then there are some side items that are also included? I got different answers every time I asked. Also the buffet was 28.99 which seemed that it did not include a drink, and when I thought about this I realized you would have to eat more than two FULL plates before you even broke even on the buffet so really the buffet is not a good deal. Maybe there are people that sit and eat for hours I don't know so I can't judge the economics of it.
In any case it was a good spot I'll probably come back here again I wish they just had a menu that had a little bit clearer pricing and I think then it would be a five star.

First-time visiting for a quick bite. Authentic Cuban restaurant and buffet. It was very delicious and has me wanting more. Thank you to the staff at Carlito Cuban Food & Cafeteria. My wife & I will bring more people with us at the visit very soon.

vi la publicacion en las redes de la mojarra de 16$? hoy fui y la pedi, me dijeron que en 15 minutos estaba servida pero fueron 45 minutos , cuando me la dieron, la presentaciondel plato no era la misma q publicaron era muy diferente nada atractivo,le hice saber a la empleada y me dijo q en la publicacion tenia q ser bonita para q la gente vaya, senti q era un engan̈o publicitario. No ofrezcan si no lo cumplen .
