Disappointing experience. Sub par food quality and service, way too noisy and loud (had to shout in order to be heard and couldn't hear anything said by the servers), awful salsa, good chips, decent drinks, poorly designed layout for guest accommodations.
Absolutely divine experience. Ricky, our server, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and quite literally delivered perfect service. We followed his recommendations and wow we are glad we did! The salsa prepared tableside is so fresh and vibrant, the scallops melt in your mouth, and the buttery wagyu short rib is a rich and tender moment. The entrees were served with tortillas on the side with intention: to mix and create your own taco experience. Everything here from the ambience, menu, service, is done intentionally and authentically. We had the best anniversary! Also: I am celiac and it can be incredibly challenging to find places to accommodate - but Casa Playa has a 99% gluten free menu, and I had no worries of cross contact. This was huge for me!
The food was fabulous, ambiance amazing... but if you are trying to have conversation it's hard bc it's very loud. The guacamole was great and they make a green Spanish rice that was fabulous
Guacamole is dinky and bland, but everything else is good portioned and delicious! The decor is beautiful, and service is good.
Amazing food and great table service. I'd surely go back to this restaurant at the Encore again.
The food was absolutely delicious, the vibe was fun and welcoming, and everything was beautifully done. But the best part of our night was our server, DJ. He was so kind, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he really cares about his guests. Highly recommend this place — and if you can, ask for DJ!
Rudely greeted and seated by young hostesses waitress didn't come by our table for over 10 minutes finally asked for service entitled staff obviously they have the chefs attitude all of us felt it was a bad experience
Great place for tourists and locals highly recommended 👏👏👏

Let me start with the positives: the food was absolutely amazing, from starters to dessert. Their tequila selection is impressive, and while the cocktails were a bit on the sweet side, they were accommodating when I asked for less sweetness. They also recommended a fantastic tequila at a very reasonable price. My favorite dishes of the night were the fish and the birria—both were outstanding.
Now for the not-so-good: the experience with the hostess at the front was deeply disappointing. I understand this is a nice restaurant in a decent hotel on the Strip, but there’s no need to act as though you own the place. This was a dinner with our customer, and when an extra person showed up unexpectedly, we politely asked if they could accommodate one more. Instead of trying to work with us, the hostess flatly said, “No, please find another restaurant.” When I asked to speak with the manager, she seemed visibly annoyed as she reluctantly made the call. Meanwhile, the other hostess standing nearby muttered under her breath, “What is there not to understand?”
I completely understand if accommodating an extra person isn’t possible, but it was the dismissive attitude and lack of effort that made the situation unpleasant. A polite explanation would have gone a long way, but they didn’t even try. What made it worse was that our table ended up being a long booth that clearly could have fit one more person with ease. One of my colleagues volunteered to leave so we could keep our table, which resolved the issue, but it was upsetting to realize how avoidable the situation was.
For a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect exceptional service. Turning away a group of 12 just because you didn’t want to make a small adjustment—like adding a chair or offering a suggestion such as “It’s a booth, so it might be a tight fit”—is not acceptable. Small gestures like that can make all the difference in the guest experience.
While the food was great and our waiter provided excellent service, my dissatisfaction with the two hostesses at the front has left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, despite the quality of the food, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Fancy spot in the Wynn casino, the nice and colored decor gives good Mexican/coastal vibes. The octopus is amazing, soft, it melts in your mouth. The summer squash tamales with green mole and basil are outstanding, the mole is so beautifully tasty, a really special culinary treat. The ceviche is so delicate and nicely seasoned. The roasted eggplant is creamy, spicy, greatly combined with the tahini sauce. The juicyness of the chicken and its nice mole are excellent. Overall the food is more than tasteful, a joy for your palate. The cocktails are good, 4/5 type of margaritas and nice alternative cocktails to chose. It's Pricey, but it worths every penny. Strongly Recommended!

This place is phenomenal! We are in Vegas 3-5 x a year and we always bring clients here because the food and aptmosphere is consistantly amazing. I always order the carnitas before I even sit down. Also the private room is perfect for business dinners when you want to flex

Went for an event. The tacos and appetizers were fantastic. The mezcal old fashioned amazing. They had an ice cream taco as dessert that was pretty good too.
People were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to Wynn Las Vegas since 2009. This is my first time dining at Casa Playa, which is their fairly new Mexican restaurant option. Indigo and Eli have been our two servers. Both of them were absolutely fantastic. The food is inspired, elevated and delicious. I will say the women at the front door who greeted us were not very pleasant and need an etiquette lesson in how to treat guest. That is my only disappointment and criticism for this restaurant. Thank you, Casa Playa Las Vegas for a great experience in your dining room and with your wonderful food and inspired recipes.
