I don’t know how they got over 3 stars food was horrible I asked for my fish to be cooked a certain way I ate around the insides she said I get you another piece and she dropped my old fish back in the grease it taste like grease alone I don’t know what they hype is about but it ain’t it‼️

Great music. Great food. I had the soft shell crab with shrimp. The shrimps are huge and meaty. I love a good potato salad and they have it.The only complaint is my dinner didn’t come with tarter or horseradish sauce. Maybe I’m suppose to ask for it but I didn’t get it. I needed something to cut the friedness. The waitress/cashier was chill and really good didn’t catch her name.
The food was delicious but places an order to go for some catfish and it took an hour...! I had time to go home and come back to have to wait some more.

As a southerner, I approve of their catfish it meets down home standards. Hushpuppies use proper medium cornmeal instead of the cake batter garbage. You may wait a bit, but you can't rush perfect catfish. Music is amazing, too. This is our new seafood spot now.

I have been to many restaurants in town from high-end to budget friendly. I revisited this cozy homestyle Louisiana fish spot across from the community College of Southern Nevada. When I say WOW, that's what I mean. First, I was greeted with a drink it was Kool-aid, the type that makes you reminisce about that drink on the porch. Not too sweet as folks tend to do. It's just right. I saw a lady really eating this corn and I asked her if it was really that good? All she could do was hum with delight. I ordered it. Out came this corn. It was so special, sweet and buttery. That lady was right, and my friend's reaction was so genuine. When our fish meal came It was a lot, but it made me want to do the Guy Ferrari dance (like he does on his show). The fish was hot, the hushpuppies delightful for me it was the cold slaw. It had that Southern dill taste that I had been missing. Like an old grandma was back there in the kitchen preparing it. But let me tell you about that catfish. It was not greasy. It had that flavor that was catfish. It wasn't overly seasoned, and they used Old Bay that's a winner. The Jumbo shrimp was just that and not dry. I recommend giving this a try on your seafood night.Parking: Small parking lot

Anticipated a great Sunday lunch at Catcher's but was severely disappointed. I am sure the owner was not present because he or she would not have been happy. Service was slow to terrible; food arrived after 15 minutes and was a mix of smelly catfish and good gumbo. Other patrons next to us left after 15 minutes because server did not take their order. Another couple nearby sent their food back, twice. I enjoyed the fried fish, despite fact that seafood platter featured OLD and fishy catfish. Their gumbo was great but no larger than a regular soup bowl, but cost $20. Overall, Catcher's is extremely over priced for the value. Their promise is great, but delivery really sucked on my visit. Every entree was $20 or more, but not worth half. Better to buy fresh fish at market, sprinkle it with garlic and old bay, and cook it yourself.Parking: easy parking but building does not stand out.

I had heard about this restaurant from the owner himself and couldn't wait to see it for myself. The food, staff, and the atmosphere was everything he boasted about and more.This was my first visit. I didn't have time to stay but ordered my food to go. I will definitely be back because the food was delicious, and I will dine in.I had the Red Snapper platter with fries. You have a choice of cole slaw or 3 hush puppies. You may opt for both for a small fee.The food had a definite Louisiana/Cajun flair mingled with the skill of that one family member who knows their way around the kitchen.I enjoyed everything and can't wait to go back with friends.

Amazing food omg! We really looked at each other when we took our first bite with eyebrows raised in full shock and excitement. We did not expect it to taste this good but we’re glad it happened. Their service is friendly and the ambiance is a southern seafood joint. The best thing was the juicy chicken strips and jumbo shrimp. I found this place as a recommendation from a TikTok user and I need to thank that person because this is seafood heaven in LV.Please expect to wait for up to 30 minutes for your order as they make everything fresh from scratch. It also says this on the menu. The wait was definitely worth it.
