As a southerner, I approve of their catfish it meets down home standards. Hushpuppies use proper medium cornmeal instead of the cake batter garbage. You may wait a bit, but you can't rush perfect catfish. Music is amazing, too. This is our new seafood spot now.
I have been to many restaurants in town from high-end to budget friendly. I revisited this cozy homestyle Louisiana fish spot across from the community College of Southern Nevada. Great music. Great food. I had the soft shell crab with shrimp. The shrimps are huge and meaty. I love a good potato salad and they have it.The only complaint is my dinner didn’t come with tarter or horseradish sauce. Maybe I’m suppose to ask for it but I didn’t get it. I needed something to cut the friedness. The waitress/cashier was chill and really good didn’t catch her name.
