Food was good but every steak was given to the wrong person in our table of 6. Not 1 off but totally mixed up. So unfortunately I got medium rare while others got my More cooked version. Otherwise was very good experience.

We went there for my niece 21st Birthday! We had a great time. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! Will definitely eat here again.
This was my 3rd time bringing clients here. It's your standard steakhouse as far as ambiance and menu. For Vegas, it's a steal. Food and service are consistently great it's easy to get a table, and you don't have to yell to have a conversation. I'll definitely be back!
We went on a Tuesday night for date night but I guess we went on the wrong day there was a lot of males in there with no dates just males together as groups I am guessing it was a convention or something in town I guess so hopefully when we do go back and will be more of a date night atmosphere but overall the food was amazing everything was good
I took a couple of clients here for a celebration dinner and we had such an amazing time! The steaks were perfection, the sides (macaroni and cheese, brussel sprouts, and corn) were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend everyone checking this place out.
Chose charcoal room based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Don't let the lack of busyness scare you away. Kim our waitress was absolutely fantastic and delivered my wife and I a great dining experience. Each had a steak and were cooked to perfection! Great meal without strip prices.
The food in the service was impeccable. We had a wonderful dinner and a great atmosphere. The only complaint was the crab legs were a little overpriced. Almost $200 a pound! But, once a year, it's a great place to spoil yourself.
It was my 80th birthday and my two wonderful sons took care of everything. I've eaten here at least a dozen times but this visit was the best! Outstanding quality food , somehow all 11 of us got served together, what a feat. Filets, new Yorks and porterhouse led the parade of delectable food . Be back in a couple weeks for more
The Charcoal Room at the Palace Station is one of our very favorite restaurants. We are local and love to try the wide variety of eating establishments Las Vegas has to offer. However, for special occasions we return to those tried-and-true restaurants like The Charcoal Room. The food is top-notch, well-prepared and delicious. On New Year's Eve, my husband ordered the petite filet, my brother ordered the Porterhouse steak, and I had the crab cakes. Each entree was perfect and very tasty. Our sides were the mashed yams (very yummy!), vegetables and mushrooms. My all-time favorite appetizer is the Calamari - uniquely prepared and excellent! The service is well-trained and professional. A truly wonderful dining experience!
Rick was our server and he was great. Loved the French onion soup, our steaks were cooked exactly to our liking.

The Charcoal Room was excellent, great food, great service. From the check in to paying the bill was exactly what I wanted for our dinner. ☆☆☆☆☆☆
Our party had a great meal and excellent service. We've dined at the Charcoal Room several times at the Santa Fe location as well. Always terrific food and attentive service. We'll be back in the future for sure.
So glad we chose this restaurant for our Christmas eve dinner. Wonderful staff, food and atmosphere.
I enjoyed a great Christmas eves' dinner with my two kids. We dined on steak, oysters, stuffed potato's, spinach, creme brulee, with a wonderful Ferrari Carrano Tresor blend. It couldn't have been better. Rick, our server, was both knowledgeable and helpful and made the experience the best!
Most people sleep on the Charcoal Room at Palace Station, and I can't understand why. This is one of our favorite Stations Casinos restaurants, and we love to spend our players club points here. It's a restaurant with a nice atmosphere, terrific service, good prices, and great food. What's not to love about that? We dine here a few times a year (and have been coming for years), and we've never had a bad or disappointing meal. On holidays, they sometimes have special menus, and they accept reservations through Open Table. The décor is what I'd call "modern old school Vegas." The walls are lined with curved, red booths, and it's contemporary yet comfortable. Since this is a local's casino restaurant, the dress code is "come as you are." I've seen everything from shorts and baseball hats to fancy suits and dresses. You will be comfortable in whatever attire you choose. (I normally wear a nice top and jeans and feel perfectly dressed). The menu is limited but filled with great choices. I don't eat red meat, and I usually opt for the salmon. It's tasty and well-prepared, and I've always been happy with that dish. Hubby gets the steak and raves about it, especially in relation to the price and quality. Other items that I love are the new mashed yams (they are topped with a gigantic homemade marshmallow!), the macaroni and cheese (you can never go wrong with noodles and cheese), and the shrimp cocktail (so fresh and one of the best things on the menu). The special steak sauces are tasty too, and the complimentary bread basket is one of my favorites (pretzel rolls for the win)! The service here is professional and prompt, and it rivals some of the finer and more expensive Strip steak houses. The difference is, the Charcoal Room isn't stuffy. Friendly and welcoming, the servers go out of their way to make your experience a nice one. If you haven't been here in years, give the place a try. It's a gem that caters to locals, and is the perfect spot for a nice evening out.
