Great shopping experience except for the optical department. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses for the best part of 70 years. Three of the last four pair I purchased from Costco developed crazing on the lenses. When I took in the first pair a couple of years ago, Mario looked at them and told me the warranty didn’t cover them and walked away to assist another customer. When I returned the second pair I was told the coating breaks down after about three years and that is out of the warranty period. Last week I noticed that the coating on the lenses in the glasses I bought three months ago was beginning to break down. I called the optical department and Louis told me to return them under warranty. I did so today. Crystal assisted me. The first thing she said to me was “Do you cook with these on? Extreme heat causes this.” Fortunately the warranty period is not up so the glasses were sent out for replacement lenses. Doing research I learned that the most common cause of crazing is a defective application or inferior coating material. Instead of blaming the customer for this problem Costco should look at the labs they contract with and the manufacturing processes.

I recommend you go and walk the aisles for all the goods they carry. You'll probably find more things then you thought you would. Good prices, good products. It's an excursion, not a chore

Amazing prices! $10 full cheese or pepperoni pizzas, $1.50 all beef hotdog with a drink, soft serve ice cream or chicken bake (like a hot pocket). Great for a fast cheap dinner.

if the checker forgets to scan something on your cart the girl working the exit was very unprofessional and rude. She made me stand at the exit like I had stolen something, it was a big bundle of toilet paper that the checker forgot to scan and she didn't say one word to me but held on to my cart like I was going take off. Called security and another checker (black guy and was very kool) who asked me if I wanted to pay for it or leave it and leave? I didn't know the guy didn't ring it up bc I had a few hundred dollars in stuff, Of course I'll pay for it, thats why it's on my cart. He was at least a lot more polite than the swamp monster working the door.
