This is where the really good vegan food is. Everyone in my party enjoyed this place immensely. Everything was delicious! We had a party of 4 and they offered to bring an extra of something that had only 3. Just very nice and super friendly. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-04
Awesome vegan sushi restaurant! And they have larb, which isn’t Japanese but is one of my favorite foods!!
Sushi was unique and everything we had was delicious. Ordered the Spicy “Tuna” Pocket, Bulgolgi Roll, and Black Garlic Roll. Will definitely return next time we visit Vegas.
The service here was really friendly, and the food was great! When I'm in town, I usually stick to dining options on the strip because of convenience since I'm already staying there, but I don't mind making the ~15 mile drive for this. We ordered: nigiri sushi (salmon was roasted bell pepper, unagi was eggplant, and albacore was daikon), tonkatsu cutlet (tofu), and sea bass (tofu) with tomato sauce.
Very nice restaurant. Service was exceptional. Food was all very delicious
It is all vegan, the sushi is delicious, Raman is good(typical salty). They pan fry the rice and can do it with minimal oil if asked. There are many entrees that are deep fried that i passed on.
Daikon lives up to the hype. The place is clean. The staff are great. And, the food really is that good. The caterpillar role is probably the best vegan sushi roll I have ever had. If you come to Vegas make the trip to Daikon.
I used to go here for the yummy karage and curry ramen soup. But haven't gone back since I had a bad experience with rude servers. Veggie Eat Express has way better vegan sushi in my opinion. And friendlier servers and owner. I also don't feel my best after eating at Daikon, unfortunately.
Every time I visit Vegas I have to stop here. It’s absolutely delish and staff is so friendly.
Everything was delicious. We ordered the squid salad, spider roll, hot girl roll, dynamite pockets, sesame chicken with rice and the sea bass tomatoes sauce with rice. Everything was good except the sea bass tomatoes sauce wasn’t that great. It tasted diluted. And the squid salad wasn’t that great either. Other than that it’s pretty good. The staff was friendly. We talked and he gave a few recommendations on some vegan restaurants in San Diego since we’re heading that way. So that was nice of him.

The Sesame “Chicken” is unreal.
We made a beeline from the airport to try the amazing vegan sushi at Daikon that we've heard so much about. We were warmly greeted at the door, and we were guided through the menu when we were seated. The sesame "chicken" entree was superb, and the curry ramen was delicious. We also ordered a couple sushi rolls, the spider roll and the tropical dragon roll - both were excellent. We're only in Vegas a few days, but we're planning another visit to Daikon.
If you like deep fried tofu, and who doesn’t, get the karage with your order. It’s such good value.
Definitely recommend. 5 stars for ramen, lemon tart dessert, black rice sushi (golden knight special), Thai iced tea and spider roll. 4 stars for tropical dragon and bulgogi roll.
Wow! So worth the Uber from the strip. We had the Bulgogi roll, the sunset roll, and the Golden State roll. All three were amazing! We started off with the garlic chili edamame and finished with a lemon bar. Every single item was delicious.
