Empanadas Restaurants near Las Vegas, NV

“We visited today for the first time and we will definitely be back! We tried a variety of empanadas and had are pitas as well. Delicious, clean, great service!“

“We stumbled upon this place while walking around Town Square and stopped in to give it a try.

Wait Time: It took about five minutes for my iced latte and then about 15–20 minutes for my three empanadas. The wait for my three empanadas seemed a little lengthy, since the family before me had a shorter wait and the two orders after me were in and out in under 10 minutes. Upon completing my order, the staff member apologized for the wait and gave me a complimentary alfajor to thank me for my patience—remarkable customer service.

Order: I tried the 1). Dulce de Leche Latte - Iced, 2). the Chicken Curry Empanada, 3). the Beef Empanada, and 4). the Pizza Empanada. Thanks to the kind staff, I also got to try the 5). Alfajor.

1). The Dulce de Leche Latte - Iced was nothing special. Truthfully, it tasted like a regular latte and I was not getting the Dulce de Leche of it all. It was not sweet and the espresso was the more prominent flavor.

2–4). The Chicken Curry Empanada, the Beef Empanada, and the (Pepperoni) Pizza Empanada (I believe this is a special, limited time flavor) each tasted how I imagined they would. The chicken curry tasted like chicken curry—it had a very faint, hint of a kick rounding off each bite. The beef tasted like beef—traditional ground beef. The pepperoni pizza tasted like a freshly made pizza pocket with pepperoni and cheese. The dough to filling ratio is perfect, with the flavor of the filling able to shine while the dough compliments it. The dough itself was cooked evenly and nicely through. I genuinely enjoyed each empanada.

5). The Alfajor was delicious and my first time trying one. The biscuits that made up the sandwich treat, coated my first bite with that soft and powdery texture. A very full and tasty filling followed. Again, it was delicious.

Service: The staff was friendly and welcoming, offering to answer any question we may have. The complimentary alfajor due to the extended wait time was a very kind gesture that I have not seen too much of recently and found to be refreshing.

The ambiance and decor were open, approachable, and well-lit. My overall experience was a positive one and I would definitely pop in to try different flavors and pick up some alfajores the next time I'm at Town Square!“

“The restaurant re-named themselves to Tio Simon. I ordered “Curvy queen” arepa and it’s very good. The plantain dish was not bad at all. The server was attentive and accommodating as well. It doesn’t have too many choices of hot drinks though, only coffee. But it was at night so we had to order just water.“

“Ordered through Postmates, a dozen conchas... and 1 empanada filling cream. The conchas are big and good and so was the empanada. However I’m giving only 4 Stars because they only gave me 11 conchas. Instead of the dozen. I would order again though.“

“We tried the 24" one-topping Pepperoni Pizza pick up special they had and WOW! This thing is HUGE! The dough tasted very fresh, the sauce was just right and not too tangy or overpowering, the pepperoni was on point and the cheese, well what can I say, it's cheese, which is always YUM! This pizza was worth every penny! We will definitely be back! Thanks Damien! 😉“
