We got this place for pick up, the food was not good. The food lack flavor. It lacked seasonings and salt. They do use a lot of meat on the tacos or flautas BUT the flavor is not there, which sucked. The Aguas Frescas are good, they are on the sweeter side but aren't so bad.

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We literally walked out after two bites with my 27 bucks down the drain. The carne asada was gray and looked like it was boiled beef. Tasted like it too. Zero flavor. It took them forever to get our meal to us, so I expected it to be great. How do you serve meat like this and call yourself an authentic Mexican restaurant? The only bright side is the older gentleman at the counter was extremely nice and polite. But I would absolutely never eat here again under any circumstances.
This is my First time here with my Family. They are really nice people with great additudes professional hard working caring . Their customer service to me and my family was terrific 💯 . We really Loved it and now will make it our home on the weekends. Food and drinks are Delicious 😋

The street tacos are good and one of the last places where they are still cheap. The meat was moist and well cooked. The service can be a bit slow as they only had two people working but it was not an unreasonable wait.

The food was amazing! Everything came out fresh and hot and had lots of flavor! I would definitely recommend trying their tacos, quesadillas and burrito. Don’t forget to get a horchata to go with your meal.
Frijoles & Frescas is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to!

It was ok, I ordered the carne asada street tacos. The only resemblance to street tacos was the fact that each taco was wrapped with 2 corn tortillas. I've never had tacos that had pinto beans mixed with the carne asada and topped with monterey jack cheese, sour cream. They were good but I wanted street tacos not somebody's interpratation of what they think a street should be.
I saw the owner poking his nose & eating the gold he would take out

This place has gone downhill in the past year and it's sad to see that happen. It used to be a wonderful, delicious restaurant but now both the food and the service are not worth what they charge. The menudo and pozole are overloaded with cloves, the flautas have shrunken and lack taste and the guacamole is not worth the $20 charge. To top it off, the server was uncomfortable to talk to, didn't smile once and delivered horrible service. Overall, this experience adds to the list of other negative experiences at this restaurant and it'll sadly be the last time we visit.
