For $20 I could have gone to DQ and gotten a better treat.

First I wanna say the ice cream was good and the man who checked me out wasn’t necessarily rude. I worry I honestly came across as rude, I said it was my birthday (it is, I held up my ID to show proof) and ask if there was any sort of birthday bonus. He said if I have to ask him that I have to be nice about it and smile at him. And then he kept saying I “have to smile, it’s your birthday, you have to smile.” Which I know he was nice to give me a discount, but like all the other times a man told me (a woman) to smile more it definitely hurt and will stay with me for a while. I think maybe it’s just a common thing to know now that to tell a woman she needs to smile, no matter the intentions, is still misogynistic and tiring and damaging. Really it killed whatever smile I guess I didn’t have for the rest of my birthday evening.

I purchased 8 boxes of chocolates and spent about $300. Asked for extra bags since I was giving the chocolates as gifts. The response from the person ringing me up was that the bags are expensive but lucky for me she had extra! I am advertising for your brand by using your bags!! I spent a good amount of money there and she is telling me that the bags are expensive?! It's the attitude and delivery. Never will I go there again.

Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop, located between The LINQ and Flamingo, provides a charming experience for chocolate and ice cream lovers. I’ve been coming here for years, and the Banana Split is still one of my all-time favorites. Their chocolates are top-notch, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a nice stop while walking the Strip.

Update from today: I tried the Dubai Chocolate Sundae, and it was absolutely amazing! Rich, delicious, and definitely worth trying. The staff was super friendly, and Tara was amazing — very kind and made the experience even better.

Seating is limited, but the experience and desserts are totally worth it! 🍨🍫

Asked for no cream on my order over at the LINQ store, the server didn’t read this and when she put the cream on she just scraped it back off with her fingers and handed it to me. Absolutely disgusting.

A week after my trip here I felt it necessary to share my experience! I was sitting here eating some of the chocolate I got from this Ghirardelli and I couldn’t help but think about how wonderful my experience was! I’ve been to the flagship store in SF, also a great time, but the service at this particular location was absolutely fantastic. I was already a massive Ghirardelli fan, but the experience here was world class. I don’t recall the managers name, but definitely the type of person you want representing your company. Friendly, personable, about 30 seconds in and you’d swear you were his best friend. Rest of the staff was also excellent. Obviously the chocolate and the sundaes were next level. I simply cannot say enough good stuff about this place. We went back a second time in our time in Vegas just because the service and friendliness was that good. Thank you so much for making a great time in Vegas that much better… and tastier!

Non Dairy ice cream with coconut whipped cream

What an amazing store! We stopped in after dinner so I didn't end up buying anything this visit, but I am absolutely coming back before we leave Las Vegas. The store itself is gorgeous and smells incredible — exactly what you'd hope for from an iconic chocolate brand. The biggest surprise was discovering they have an ice cream shop inside, which I had no idea about. That alone has me planning a return trip! If you're walking the Strip, do yourself a favor and pop in even just to browse. You won't regret it.

Obviously the chocolate is EXCELLENT, it’s the sundaes that tanked this review. Save yourself the money and pass on these overpriced blah sundaes. Hot fudge wasn’t hot. Nuts were missing. Meah.

Paid $19.50 for the “world-famous chocolate sundae,” couldn’t even force myself to finish it so I just ended up throwing away more than half of it. It tasted like they used expired whipped cream, which made everything taste terrible, and the ice cream had sublimation. Save your money this isn’t worth it

I found the ice cream here to be quite mediocre and overhyped, especially for the price. It’s fairly expensive and the flavors didn’t feel very special or unique. On top of that, the ice cream was a bit too sweet for my taste, which made it less enjoyable.
