Josh at the bar was amazing. Place was extremely busy on a Saturday but he took good care of us. Recommended great cocktails that were carefully crafted and also hit the spot on 2 apps and the wood fired pizza. Thank you, Josh! Our go-to spot now on.

I just came for a cocktail.
Josh was really friendly and welcoming.
I wanted something really special so he created a drink on the spot that hit the spot.
He's the guy to talk to if you want something special.
The place was moderately filled and i didn't wait.
It was a good moment.

All the food was yummy except the barley roasted vegetable soup which was more of a broth with tiny diced vegetables and it was not served piping hot.

Pizza with homemade chorizo was great. Little gem ceasar salad way overpriced. There was a mixup with desert, pannacotta had not same toping as on menu. The wrong item was served without explaining the change and was a wrong delivery. We were served the ordered cheesecake thereafter, which was tasty.
The ambiente is nice, though loud. Alltogether not the same nice experience as some weeks at Gjelina in NY.

I have eaten at Gjelina in California on several occasions and a proud owner of the restaurant cookbook I was excited to see it open at the Venetian in Las Vegas. Having recently moved to the Las Vegas area. I was surprised that at 7pm the restaurant was very empty, Yardbird Nextdoor had a line out the door and Gjelina was wide open. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and ushered right away to our table. The server was very friendly and took our drink order immediately. We ordered several apps and they were all great, the charcuterie plate with the mustarda was fantastic. The pizzas were great and the pork chop might be the best I have ever had, I rarely order a pork chop but the server insisted it was fantastic and he was right. The food is great, reliable and just as delicious as the original restaurant. I hope more people realize that it is a great spot, good solid food, nothing super fancy, very approachable and a great place for a weeknight dinner or a date. The service was wonderful and I will for sure be going back again. I need the recipe for the PORK CHOP!!!

We ate here and it was fantastic! We had an appetizer, two salads, and an entree. Their menu changes all the time as everything is locally sourced. It was so delicious and so creative! When I come back I'm definitely going here.

Having loved the original in Venice, we were thrilled to try the new Gjelina on the Las Vegas Strip. Even tucked inside The Venetian, it still channels those chill L.A. vibes – the dining room is low‑lit and rustic, and the menu highlights the same produce‑driven, “local and seasonal whenever possible” philosophy .

We started with the Little Gem Caesar – crisp lettuce tossed in a creamy anchovy dressing with garlicky baguette croutons . Our pan‑seared salmon (paired with salsa verde and fennel salad ) stole the show; it was buttery and perfectly cooked, with a lovely char on the skin. The brussels sprouts – charred and tossed in a chili‑lime vinaigrette with toasted cashews and crispy shallots were a close runner-up. We also enjoyed the mushroom pizza, featuring Truffle Tremor cheese, fontina and thyme . For dessert we indulged in a warm sticky toffee pudding topped with extra ice cream, which was the perfect sweet finish to the meal (memorably good).

What truly elevated the evening was the service. Our server Juliette was attentive without hovering. She noticed it was our anniversary and surprised us with a chilled glass of bubbly – a thoughtful gesture that made the night feel extra special. Other staff members were equally warm and chatty, guiding us through the long menu of pizzas, veggies and mains, just as reviewers have noted .

Overall, the dishes ranked from most to least memorable for us were the salmon, then the Gem Caesar, the brussels sprouts, and finally the pizza. Gjelina Las Vegas lives up to its Venice roots; the kitchen turns out beautifully executed dishes and the team delivers genuine hospitality. It’s a great spot for an anniversary dinner or a leisurely lunch (go early to avoid the crowds). We’ll definitely be back for more wood‑fired fare and that famous veggie‑centric spread.

Gjelina is a gem! The service is impeccable—attentive and warm. The farm-to-table dishes are top-tier, bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors that showcase quality ingredients. The ambience is perfect, blending rustic charm with a lively, inviting vibe. Highly recommend!

Oysters: so fresh!!!
Ribeye steak: cooked to perfection
Wagyu cheek pasta: decadent and pasta was al dente
Sticky toffee: not to sweet, couldnt get enough!

Do not waste your time

Food was flavourless, unseasoned & not worth the time or money, much better options around (Matteos across for example)

The blonde low ponytail staff member working last night needs to be fired, what a waste of wages. We watched as she stood in front of the pos system gossiping with RBF and didn't move for 45 minutes, insanity

Matt took such great care of us tonight and made my friend’s celebratory dinner extra special! We took all of his amazing food recommendations and he was so attentive, kind, and informative! Arisa, the mgr, came by and was so sweet and added to this tremendous experience as well! Great food and ambiance! Excellent service from the bussers as well!

Not sure about people’s harsh reviews here, maybe just the competitor restaurants are rating them bad on purpose… but we had an amazing experience last night! Wondered around for a while, everywhere it was a 1 hour wait minimum, so we asked here and they were super welcoming and nice. Breath of fresh air after the other tries.
Michael was our waiter, a funny and great character, very knowledgable and passionate about the restaurant’s mission. He gave real good recommodations, so we ended up trying the Hamachi, the beet salad, shaved corn and wagyu orecchiette bolognese and a pistachio chocolate tarte for dessert. Everything was DELICIOUS, the only thing we wasn’t crazy about, is the corn dish. It was a bit plain compared to the other dishes. Their ingredients are sourced from farms and most things are organic. I loved that they offer hungarian wines on their menu. Tokaji is the best wine in Hungary and you are lucky if you get to try it in the US. Good one on you Milos!
We definitely recommend this place, amazing service and food, drinks were delish too!

Had dinner at Gjelina inside the Venetian/Palazzo and left disappointed. The energy was what you’d expect from a Strip restaurant, but the décor felt more like an upscale diner than a polished, high-end space. Lighting was pleasant, but the atmosphere was extremely loud and made it hard to enjoy conversation.

Food was inconsistent. The oysters were excellent, and the beet and burrata salad (which was forgotten until after entrées) was delicious once it finally arrived. The Hamachi, on the other hand, was very disappointing and lacked flavor. The sea bass was good but not great. The lamb chops came out nearly raw, had to be sent back, and were still bland and under-seasoned. A manager offered to send more, but that didn’t feel like a meaningful solution. The eggplant side was surprisingly one of the best dishes of the night.

Service was polite but disorganized, and overall the experience fell short of expectations. With its reputation, I expected much better execution. Aside from a couple of standout bites, this was not a meal I’d return for.

Incredibly rude and pretentious staff. Unwilling to make basic modifications to the fold including changing the type of pasta on that comes with a particular sauce. Management blames corporate and literally says they are puppets with no say on anything. Strongly recommend you skip this place.
