Gymkhana is a true gem of a restaurant, offering an exquisite experience of food, cocktails, culture, and service from the moment you walk in. This newly opened spot brings the best Indian cuisine with a British style straight from London. The atmosphere is elegant, comfortable, and perfectly matched by a great playlist, with beautiful presentation and classy decor that transports you far from Vegas.
The food is absolutely amazing, incredible, and delicious, with every bite bursting with flavors. Dishes taste exactly as they do at the celebrated London location, if not better. Standout items include the Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops, Venison Biryani, Aloo Chaat, Rajasthani Okra, Kasoori Chicken Tikka, Chicken Butter Masala, butter chicken, chicken tandoori, and the chickpea masala. The gol guppa starter is fun and delicious. The bread basket with an assortment of rotis and sauces is excellent, especially the raita mixed with pomegranate. For dessert, the unique Mango Rasmalai and the gulab Jamun are must-haves.
The service is very nice, attentive, amazing, and great, with a helpful and happy team that has a great dynamic. They make the experience fantastic and never make you feel rushed, allowing you to linger over your meal. The cocktail menu features incredible drinks like the spicy Bagheera, the interactive Patiala peg, and the pretty Pegu Club. There is also a full incredible mocktail menu, with highlights like the fruit cup and the mango soda. The tea service feels special and intentional.
Due to its popularity, securing a coveted seat requires planning. Definitely get a reservation early or join the waitlist. There are also a few non-reserved bar seats available nightly for those who arrive early. It is a bit on the expensive side but totally worth treating yourself to a scrumptious, life-changing meal. This is a must-go restaurant that you will absolutely want to go back to again.
