About Il Gelato

Il Gelato is located inside the Eataly complex on the Vegas strip. It is an amazing place to stop for a nice, cold gelato during the blazing heat. The gelato is dense, cold and the flavor is strong. It has many different flavors to choose from, like pistachio, hazelnut, vanilla chocolate chip topped with pistachios, and coconut. The pistachio is a little salted and not bright green which is a good sign. The scoops are a decent size. A large cup is $10, and two scoops in a waffle cone is $9. In one opinion, this place has the best gelato in Vegas strip. However, service needs improvement, as workers can be slow to acknowledge customers. They are also stingy on the flavor sample with only 1 sample per person. The paper spoon goes limp in the middle of eating a grande gelato cup. The entire complex is very nice with comfortable places to sit and efficient AC. It can be loud due to the surrounding restaurants and music, and everything is expensive, but it is a good cool treat.
