INDUSTRY 13 Karaoke & Bar

Service was terrible, air conditioning wasn't working, staff didn't care. It was my daugters birthday party. We rented a room for a big karaoke party. Cost reduction expected.

I usually do positive reviews but today I have to share a not so positive experience. To start I was really excited to try this place but ultimately disappointed in the service. I booked my reservation day or so in advance. Your booking is not automatically accepted, they do have to approve it. I requested that our reservation be on 09/20 at 8:45pm. To be honest, we got there a minute or so late. We waited about 5 or so minutes before we were greeted, and I let them know that I was the 8:45. The rest of our party was about 5 minutes away. The girl who greeted us let us know that it would be a 10 minute wait as they had to clean the room. She took my card and drivers license and she was gone about 5-10 minutes until she brought it back. The rest of the party showed up and we waited…and waited..and waited. After waiting about 25 minutes, my party and I decided to get a drink. We had our drink and waited about 15 more minutes until we were brought to the room. When we finally got to the room they told us the A/C was out, 35 minutes after our allotted reservation (Originally at 8:45). They told us that we would get an hour free due to the inconvenience. The people in the room next to us relayed that they were offered two free hours, which was odd as there is no consistency. During the time we were in the room, no one offered us water or checked on how we were doing. We decided to leave at 11:00pm on the dot. We waited another 15 minutes so we could pay and leave. The gave me back a receipt that was waaay over what we were told that we had to pay. (Context: we had the medium room which is $50 an hour, the drink was a bit over $15, the total bill they handed back was $123 and some change) Remember, we agreed to one free hour and I would pay for the drink and whatever time after that. The manager told me that we were in there for two hours. We got in the room around 9:30pm and left at 11:00pm. Unsure of how it was the two full hours as we should’ve been charged for 10:30-11:00pm. Also, they will not come to get you if your time is up. They will let you run the time for as long as you want, even if you are encroaching on another reservation, as they do not like to “kick their customers out”. In that case, what is the point of booking a reservation? Also, it seems shady as I have not seen that at a karaoke bar before. Feels too convenient to take advantage of certain patrons who may not be aware of the time. It was a lot of back and forth between my party, the security guard (Rome, who was very nice and very helpful) and the manager. In the end, we ended up getting the “two hours” free and I paid for the drink. The owner came out to speak with us and he was very polite and we were able to work it out. I am disappointed in the service. To be completely honest, there are plenty of karaoke rooms here and I have been frequently visiting them over the years I have been a local. I want to thank Rome, the manager and the owner for working with us despite the issues so we could wrap up the night peacefully. Please do better and have a standard of consistency. Also, please work on the customer service as this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a local karaoke bar. Especially one with prices that they have, service does not match what they are asking for.

I will say that the room itself is nice and the atmosphere is fun. It has a lot of potential to be a really great place and I would love to be able to come back when things are much better. But this has left an unfortunate sour taste in my mouth.

TLDR: No clear communication, unclear policies and overall poor service. :(

Fancy place. Easy to type Youtube karaoke music selections. Great food. Live DJ at the bar when midnight strikes.

It was a good place to go for the Karaoke but there not enough food options and the ones they have are kinda overpriced

Went for sister's 61st bday. Staff was beautiful and accommodating. Only fail. The flickering lights as you go to the private rooms. I have vertigo & MS. BLINKING LIGHTS TRIGGERS DIZZINESS, SEIZURES AND CAN ( ME ) CAUSE WALKING TO BE UNSTEADY.Thankful for my daughter n law had dark shades in the car. I wore them all night.. (Blinking lights in the room as well.) Still enjoyed myself as well as family

Went for my 50th birthday celebration and had the large room. Perfect set-up, great customer service, budget friendly pricing, great food and drinks. I highly recommend.

Went for a birthday awesome room for karaoke- recieved different sizes of special shots and was told they're the same mixture one was 1 oz one was 1 1/2 oz special 7 dollars then waited 30 min for a bucket of 4 beers. Only room in use at the end of the night not busy Went to snap photos and saw my beer waiting on the counter. Be aware of shot sizes and wait time. Might hit up the karaoke joint next door next time. Look at the receipt was charged for extra items. 20% gratuity to any items purchased while in room. Tip go to bar faster service and n9 20% fee

We tried this place out during soft opening, and was not impressed. Food and drinks are overpriced. On top of the that their clientele leaves trash and broken bottles for the other businesses to clean up.
