I had company in from Chicago. Our reservations were at 8 PM. We showed up at 7:30 to get a cocktail. There was a table in the bar area strictly for Drinks. The table was dirty, a couple glasses and a plate that needed to be cleared I asked the bartender for four drinks. He refused to service and told us we needed to wait for a lounge server 25 minutes later, nobody came by to take an order or clean the table Once we were seated for dinner, our experience was excellent I was very...
Great food. Extremely pleasant waiters. Good wine recommendations. Our table was able to maintain conversations without shouting. Overall, it was as good a dining experience you would hope to have.
We visited Jean Gorges the day before our reservation to pre order wines. We asked the somalier to have the wines pre set and pre opened. When we arrived for dinner with our party of 15, they made us wait until everyone in the party were present to be seated, not a great look for a client dinner.... Then when seated in the private dining room (beautiful), there were no wines, and the server had no idea that we had pre ordered wines, also not good. The food was excellent, though...
