Amazing food and staff. We sat at the counter and loved the experience of watching the staff at work creating all the dishes. We did the seasonal tasting menu and each bite was better than the last (with the exception of the halibut dish; the fish was unfortunately dry, like a neglected thanksgiving turkey.) Our favorites were definitely the scallops in the uni butter beurre blanc and the key lime custard pre-dessert. And of course, the mashed potatoes...I would lay down my life for that recipes. Nice wine list that MJ, the somm, was extraordinary at pairing with all the nuances of the dishes. The grapefruit mock tail was also very refreshing and light if you're wanting a NA option.

One of the most memorable food experiences we've had. Went for our birthdays to celebrate. A week has passed by and we're still talking about it!

We were in Vegas recently and we love French food. I found this place had a chefs choice. I thought it was gonna be more upscale than what it was so I felt overly dressed. Once we arrived we sat at the bar. I thought it would be a more intimate setting, but all in all the food was great I did take pictures of the menu. There are several pictures of food in my post here but you need to read the menu and then follow the items. It was a great experience but I don't know if I would return just to say I've been there done that, but the service was great. The food was good if you haven't been I would give it a try. When I made the reservation, I knew it was a bar sitting area. I just didn't realize the bar was so big.

Chef's tasting menu The first cold appetizer was alright. It was a some kind of foam and I didn't enjoy it. Oyster was fresh and the sauce was good but actual oyster meat was tiny and the sauce was overpowering. I would reduce the amount of the sauce or changed it to a different sauce or vinaigrette that has less strong flavor so the fresh oyster taste can stand out. I enjoyed the crab with buttermilk sauce. It was well thought dish. Scallop with uni was fantastic. I loved how fresh the uni was and everything in this dish was very well played and harmonized all together. This was the star of the dinner. Ravioli was good. The poached Halibut was pretty disappointing. Fish was perfectly cooked but the poached fish texture didn't go well with the foam, the sauce and Ikrua. Ikura was fresh but it wasn't a good match for poached Halibut. I would rather eat lkura by itself than w/ this poached Halibut + the foam w/ sauce. Nothing worked together in this dish. And why Halibut...? Halibut itself doesn't have a much flavor. It really needs very good sauce to stands out. Personally, I think it's better to choose a different fish for this kind of dinner. Maybe hamachi or even Chilean sea bass would be better than Halibut. Japanese wagyu and morels were excellent. This dish was well designed. First dessert with mango sauce was great. However, the chocolate ganache with cherry & sponge didn't meet my expectation which was not surprising. A classic dessert like this is hard to go beyond expectation unless it's on top of the world. Oh, I almost forgot to mention but breads need to be improved.I know i said many things but overall, it was a good dinner. I would say 4.5/5.

Mouthful of undercooked rice in risotto. Insufficient vegetarian options; no vegan options. Service and atmosphere were superb however.

The food and service here is always great. We went with a group of guys and all had the tasting menu. Waiters were very attentive and kept our glasses flowing all night. Would highly recommend eating here if the main Joel Robuchon is not an option.

STOP RIGHT HERE. Go eat incredible french food in the MGM? The answer is yes. The fact that this is tucked away in MGM is just astonishing, like a little hidden gem. A known gem, but hidden nonetheless. As in, there are not very well marked signs to point you in the right direction, you just have to follow your intuition. I dined here last weekend, and by dined I mean, I was whisked away on a journey of flavor, one bite at a time. We sat at the bar, which is really for those looking for dinner and a show, where you get to watch the kitchen hard at work, creating. It feels more personal, but if you want something more intimate there is always a few table options. If you aren't a fan of tasting menus, you can always go the ala carte route, but we went with the tasting menu and a wine pairing which was a delight. Our sommelier was enthusiastic and brought some options I would have never thought to try. I enjoyed the pace of the meal, so expect to dine for at least 1.5-2 hours, we might have stretched it longer because our server and the GM were so generous with his time, and talked with us. They really made our experience feel special. I can't even tell you what my favorite dish was, maybe the scallop? Maybe the potatoes with truffle? or the perfectly stuffed morel mushrooms, the bok choy? Everything Honestly though, instead of detailing everything? Just go eat for yourself, the menu is seasonal and incredible. This is the perfect place for a special occasion or just because you love a good meal. We left hungry, happy, and I will be back!

The service was great but the dishes weren’t particularly memorable. The most disappointing thing was that it smelled like smoke from the casino nearby. Definitely not like other Michelin star experiences at all.

Impeccable service, memorable food, and great atmosphere! This is a world-class, fine dining restaurant, so strap in for a culinary adventure! Couldn't recommend this place more! Especially to the vacationers looking for a Michelin star experience! You can order a la carte or have the chef cook for you with their wool thoughtfully selected chef's tasting. It's also inside the iconic MGM Grand! Don't wait. Check it out!

The concept is really interesting, my partner and I were fascinated with being able to watch the kitchen work, the countertop seating made it less intimidating of a big dollar restaurant and the interior was dim and romantic. Although, I didn't love rubbing elbows with strangers just to pick up my fork. THIS IS A FUSION RESTAURANT. I was under the impression this place was purely french cuisine but it's french/japanese fusion. Call me a purist if you must, but I was disappointed hearing this as we sat down. The food was good, I think the handful of dishes we felt were mind blowing made everything that was less than that seem to fall flat. That's the thing about really fantastic food, the whole meal needs to stack up ! By the end we were surprised to find ourselves very full, we underestimated the portions for sure. Service was generally speaking kind and attentive. One of our waiters seemed far more interactive with other parties than us, which I was fine with. The big thing that brings my personal rating down was this: Our cost came out to around $552 for two tasting menus. This is before tip, and without any wine or extras. The party next to us dropped like $2k for (a bit too much lol) wine and their meal. Seriously, i'm shocked no one cut them off the juice! TLDR: beware the dollar signs, smaller parties get countertop seating, you'll be full by the end of the tasting menu, and drink responsibly :)

Such a stellar experience both on the quality of the meals and the warmth of the service. You feel welcome and desired, with constant attention to details and recommendations based on what you asked for. The view on the kitchen is on its own an experience as well. Calm, in control and often with a smile, you can see the magic happening.I’ve been lucky to go to l’Atelier several times in Las Vegas, Montréal and Tokyo. Every time I leave the place happy and fulfilled. I highly recommend the Las Vegas one !

A knock out Michelin star restaurant and at a very reasonable price. Their tasting menu is a must and the flavors and pairing of their foods is outstanding. Staff is super hospitable and you’ll leave very full. I loved how well they cooked every dish and presented artfully. Absolutely recommend this restaurant for a splurge dinner.
