To make our story short.. We used to eat at this same location for over 20 years when it was called The King & I and we were very sad when they closed thinking we would never find another one like it😞 so today based on the good reviews we gave it a try still with some skepticism and little hopes but to our surprise we were happily delighted with everything we ate (beef cashew nuts pad, sweet & sour chicken and vegetables thai fried rice) it was as good as the place before and maybe more😋 so we'll be definitely be ordering and eating there more often😍 thank you Lakes Cafe for not disappointing❤️

Went here for my birthday since everyone in my family loves Thai food. First time here and I felt like a regular that’s been coming for years. The service was excellent they went above and beyond and would return just based off this one factor but the food was evenly matched. Everything was good and most items were really good or really really good lol definitely can expect to have a great time with great food and service if you come here. If you don’t live nearby it’s worth a little drive to experience the love and care that went into this restaurant

The best Thai restaurant in Vegas no doubt! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE needs this to be their usual Thai restaurant. The portions are amazing, the food taste great, and it's cheaper than the average Thai restaurants in Vegas. The service is amazing, such kind people and my water was never below the halfway point. I love the place, the vibe was absolutely amazing. Very clean and authentic Thai decorations. This spot is an 11/10.

We hadn't heard of this place before but decided to try it randomly based on reviews. It didn't disappoint. In fact, it shined. I know this may sound like hyperbole, but it may be the best Thai food I've had anywhere ever. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the price is fair. What more could you want? I highly recommend it.
