We recently visited Kumi and found the food to be good, but nothing particularly special. The sake selection was disappointing, as they only offered expensive bottles with no options for house sake or by the glass. The restaurant was also quite dark, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. On a positive note, the service was excellent—attentive and friendly. Overall, Kumi has potential but needs improvements in its drink options and ambiance.
The sushi pizza was amazing. Perfect combination of fresh sushi and crispy texture. The eggplant side dish was very unique as well we would recommend both and we will definitely return soon!
Kumi Japanese Restaurant is one of the top Japanese restaurants i've ever eaten at. The ambiance was impressive, the food was immaculate. The staff was very busy but still managed to serve us well. Its expensive, but we'll worth it! We will return on our next trip!
