L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Ice think I’ve needs to pay this place a Visit. Walked in to have lunch We love L & L but the two chefs in the back seem to think it’s okay to have porn on the TV screen at an American restaurant!!!! This was probably the worst most uncomfortable experience at a restaurant I’ve ever had.

Picked up to go order right before closing and the food was ok. Wasn’t as fresh as we wanted it but I guess it Was expected ordering this late.

I’ve had L&L in different cities, and they all taste a little different—but this location really stands out. The BBQ chicken plate was perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with flavor. It honestly reminded me of the original L&L spots I tried in Hawaii. Quality, portions, and flavor are all on point—definitely one of the best L&L experiences I’ve had outside the islands.

Garlic chicken was horrible, tasted more more like bbq chicken with hardly no garlic at all! Macaroni salad on rice instead of a container was nasty.

This location constantly ignores the ringing phone. I've called to order no answer. I decided to drive there walk in and dial them. They completely ignored it. Tried this during early opening hours as well as around 4pm.
Why post phone number if no intent to answer. Was t as if they were busy either. 2 other customers in the store at the time. When I asked about the morning call going unanswered I was told the grill got turned on late. When I asked about the afternoon call. The response was we stop taking orders in order to close on time...
They are very nice people I just don't understand the work etiquette.

Went here today on my lunch hour and got a check classic combo with katsu and BBQ went to pay and over $19 for one plate I asked does it at least come with a drink I was told no went to eat and the food was not as good the katsu was very dry tastes old will not be returning I will go to matiki and get two dinners with a drink for 30 L&L is over rated and service not good either

I ordered through Grubhub and received horribly old food. I ordered Lau Lau and Pork. It was very hard and dry. It had a horrible sour taste. Tried to call the restaurant and they did not pick up the phone. This is not Aloha. This is not Hawaiian style.

Super upset and rude service and turned away 20 min prior to close time .

Came to eat on 2/17/25 @7:10 pm and their doors were already closed , I pointed at my watch and they just shrugged shoulders I hope their boss know they are closing 20 min earlier then the time they have on the window horrible service took my business so the L & L on mission center , which is five min away and WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I ordered the BBQ plate. The bbq chicken was very tender, and moist. The rice was good as well. The only thing was missing was more sauce! I was expecting a very sweet taste of bbq but the flavor was OK. I would eat here again but maybe try something else.

The customer service was great. The place was very clean by the way.
