L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

L&L's are a treat, I really like their garlic shrimp plate.
The staff here was friendly also

Disappointed to say the least. It could have been that I just didn't order the best item on the menu. I had the rice bowl with fried shrimp and it only had three pieces of fried shrimp. There were hardly any vegetables in it either. They should at least include carrots and other vegetables for more flavor and variety. Just mostly very unfulfilling and uninspiring. Poor value. I did not get my money's worth and it literally did not fill me up at all.

We’ve come here for over 10 years and always loved it. The food is honestly still good and we always get kahlua pork and something else, but the soda machine is truly disgusting. Somebody is going to get very sick, it’s completely crusted and dried syrups fall off into your drink when you are trying to get some soda. The male employee was too busy watching his show that he had to pause before helping us and honestly the tables, windows and walls really need a good scrub, maybe even a fresh coat of paint. Genuinely made me lose my appetite.

This place has some of the laziest sunday night shift workers. My wife and I tried to stop by tonight 10 minutes before the closing time of 9pm at 8:50pm, but whoever was working there March 29, 2026 on Sunday night turned the lights off on us right when she noticed us pulling up. It was almost as if it was on purpose. We even tried to call while on our way there at around 8:40 pm so we can just drop by and pick up the order, but nobody answered. I get it. It’s a bit late, but it’s not like we showed up a minute before closing. Laziness like this usually costs businesses money when tolerated by the owners. L&L just lost couple of loyal customers because of this. If I owned this franchise location, these workers would be fired in a heartbeat. If they’re too lazy to work until the scheduled closing time, then they’re probably too lazy to make sure your food is served properly.

I had a very upsetting experience involving a kitchen staff member I believe (Carlos) who repeatedly harassed me about my glasses, using the nickname 'Mr. Magoo.' This kind of mockery is unacceptable and entirely unprofessional. The interaction was so distressing that I felt unsafe eating the food I paid for, fearing it may have been tampered with. I would like to know how you intend to address this behavior to ensure other guests are not treated this way.

Whenever I don't know what to eat this is always my first choice. Not a fancy restaurant but the food is always delicious. My favorite top 2 is bbq short ribs and Kuala pork, it tastes so juicy. Resistable price. I always ordered half and half mix combo and it's around 18-20dollars.

Their chicken katsu is the best I ever had, even beats the L&L I tried in Hawaii.

Decent quality of food, but WAY too much at way too high a cost. The BBQ chicken plate was $13 and came with 3 large chicken thighs. I'd eat here regularly if they served 1 chicken thigh plus a healthy side for $6. At the current portion size and price point, I don't see myself returning.

The food was inedible. Beef was chewy and fatty, pork was dry and had very little flavor. Rice was dried out. I won't go back.

Usually my go to but yesterday's curry katsu wasn't up to par. Seems like they changed the brand or recipe of the curry. Flavor seemed off.

The food was overcooked dry and tasteless I won’t come back I’ve had way better at other locations that are not L&L I really want a refund so disappointed and I should have know by how was fast my order was ready never again!

First time eating here, great food big portions. Only gripe the sriracha brand packets i dont think its the original but way to salty, ruined the food for me.
