Food is good. With the price of food going up they seem to be hurting for customers. If you show up for dinner you will find a mostly empty restaurant. The staff has been hit or miss on attentiveness but they are always friendly.

Had a wonderful server one Friday (Amanda i believe). The food is always great. Staff are nice. Can get busy so patience required occasionally. Great sweet tea and chili. Easy location to find.

It was inviting and friendly. However, our server was one of those, get your drinks and order, serve the food, and you don't see again until you're patiently waiting for your check. No drink refills, no checking to make sure food was ok, nothing. Food was alright.

The Diner is reasonably priced and the food is better than any other Black Bear diner I've been to. The service was great and I had the honor of being waited on by both Marisol and Lindsey. I ended up with Lidsey numerous time during my stay and they provided excellent service and delivered refills and the next course promptly. Lindsay conveyed friendliness with a high degree of professionalism that made you feel comfortable and not rushed.

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and it was amazing! Definitely recommend Black Bear Diner. It’s off the strip so no parking issues or large crowds.

The only reason I rate the atmosphere a 4 & not 5 stars is because I don't like the outdated carpet flooring. If they had wood or wood tile I would rate it a 5.
Parking: It's not an issue
Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheel chair access & seating.
Can roll up to tables if needed

Chicken fried steak was very overcooked and hard as a rock. Country gravy tasted of just a flour paste. Biscuits were awesome and fluffy. Eggs cooked as ordered. So, very hit and miss.

So sad. Got takeout for a movie picnic and cobbler was ice cold, ice cream was on top of hot food.. hot air rises, cold food should be on the bottom. No silverware and no tartar sauce for fish & chips. Also took twice as long which made us late, and you’d think the food would be hot:/ hopefully it was just an off night.
