Lawry's The Prime Rib

Amazing prime rib and great service.

The prime rib is always excellent and the service is fantastic. The retro look and feel of the restaurant adds to its charm. I love the ambiance. We visit every time we’re in town and enjoy it more than other “famous” steakhouses in Vegas.

My wife and I stopped at Lawry’s Prime Rib Los Vegas last night for dinner. We arrived at 6:15 and were seated immediately. Our waiter was Sergio and he greeted us with a big smile. We started off with cocktails and a Jumbo shrimp cocktail. The sauce had just the right horseradish kick and the shrimp were fresh and delicious. My wife ordered the Sea Bass and I got the big filet mignon. I got a bite of the Sea Bass and it was the best I have ever had. My Filet was med rare, cooked to perfection. We also got the green beans as a side and I also ordered the shrimp scampi as a side. Sergio came and checked on us regularly, he was an excellent waiter. I am a dessert guy so we ordered the Hot Fudge Sundae and the Sticky Toffee Pudding with a caramel sauce. Both were fantastic and there was not a single bite left of either one. All in all I highly recommend Lawry’s Prime Rib Las Vegas. I have been to Lawry’s Newport Beach many times and it is also excellent. When you get great service and excellent food don’t forget to leave a great tip. I left Sergio a 20% tip and he deserved every penny

Everything was great as usual!!! Always our place to go when we go to Vegas. Lewis was excellent and all the others assisting him. Would HIGHLY recommend Lawry's over ANY other restaurant in Vegas!!!

I loved this place. The prime rib was beyond amazing and served in an immaculate presentation. They were so nice and treated us so well in spite of the fact we weren't dressed as well as we needed to be probably.

Rude, dismissive, and absolutely not worth your time.

My friend and I had one of the most unwelcoming experiences I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant bar. I’m visiting from out of town, and my friend — an executive who lives next door in an exclusive gated community — and I stopped into Lawry’s Bar well over an hour before closing. The place was nearly empty. We politely asked if the bar was still open so we could order a drink and maybe a light bite.

The bartender’s response was shockingly rude. Instead of a simple “yes” or “no,” we were curtly told they were “down a bartender” and that he didn’t have time for us because he was making drinks for the restaurant. He suggested we go “ask for a table” if we wanted anything, as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. No apology, no effort to accommodate — just dismissive and condescending.

We were both stunned. This is not what you expect from any establishment, let alone one that markets itself as upscale. We immediately let the maître d’ know how poorly we’d been treated and told them we would not be returning — and would be sharing this experience publicly. If you value hospitality, respect, or even basic courtesy, skip this place entirely.

Absolutely amazing experience and the food & service is top notch and the history they tell you is very interesting. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you never have it's absolutely amazing and you will not regret it i will definitely be back when I come back next year absolutely outstanding service and food.

I'm not a big prime rib fan, or at least I thought I wasn't until I came here. It was amazing. The atmosphere and service were great. The food was delicious and very filling. We will be back when we visit Vegas!
