Had a reservation for 5:30, got there a little early. We were going to eat first out in the main area, as we thought they did not serve food in the back, they said they now serve in the back but ask that we eat at the bar or high tops so not to spill food on the sofas. We ate, then moved to the sofas at 5:30, shortly we were advised that at 6 they had a large party coming in and we would have to go back to the bar, high tops or stand for the remainder of our visit. My group and I arrived at 5:45pm for our reservation. We were seated few mins before happy hour ended. It took the waitress a bit to come to our table. By then, happy hour was over. It was disappointed to learn that they weren't going to be able to give us at least the first round of drinks at Happy hour price. Other than that, good was great
Cute speakeasy! Fun atmosphere, clean bathrooms, creative menu! Some items were a little odd, but the muy caliente taco was 9/10 and the glowing guava drink was absolutely 10/10!! I will literally go back for those 2 items.
Our server was excellent.
Only issue was the music level, we were hoping to talk as a group and that was a challenge over the music volume.
Overall fun and festive, and might be best for a date where you're only talking to one...
