This is a post based on a three course dinner that was a part of a special menu at Mabel's. I was visiting in Vegas and this restaurant was actually in my hotel (Palms Place). I do not enjoy giving poor reviews. However, I must admit, this food was not good. The best thing I ate in the three course meal was the salad and banana pudding. My salad was truly delicious. The smoked, crunchy chicken peas on the salad were a unique, delicious surprise. But the meat was a big NO for me. Not a drop of smoked flavor. Also, the Hawaiian chicken we ordered, didn't really seem fully cooked and the piece we tasted was flavorless. On a bright note, The customer service was top tier. The server quickly replaced the chicken with a smoked sausage that was offered in exchange. The sausage was not very tasty either. I will say I like the was the restaurant looks and the service. I did not enjoy the food.

We got the Overtime Combo to go... so glad we did... everything tender with the right amount of smoke and the best seasoning... brisket out of this world table slapping good. One side note though... didn't like the corn bread ... but who goes to a BBQ for the cornbread. Give me the meats and the sides!!

Don’t do reviews often or at all But I recently stayed at the palms and decided to give this place a try. It was very underwhelming it says smoked this smoked that we ordered the wings absolutely nothing smoked about them burnt ends same thing shells and cheese was kinda hard also for the price it’s was not worth it

The brisket nachos are so delicious and filling, that you don't need anything else. The ribs dinner was great. The pull pork bowl s also great. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

Our meals were very good. I had the big chop salad with chicken and my husband had the brisket burnt ends. The dressing was so good that I asked for the recipe, and they gave me a container to take home!

The food was ridiculously overpriced! I got a cheeseburger $18 and nothing with it. It was a normal burger not a large one. We paid an extra $9 for plain fries! $8 for a soda. Never again!

I've never had a bad meal at Mabel's Bar & Q. It was tasty! The food was tasty and brought to us hot off the grill. One entree was enough to split between 2 people. The service was great and our server was very attentive. I'd eat here again if I stay at the Palms again.

I’m a fan of this place. It’s like a sports bar with BBQ. It has huge TV’s and a lot of beers on tap.
The service and food were excellent! It was a little expensive, but completely worth it. I would definitely recommend it.

Wow! We gave this a second try and was worse . I'm so sad because I always thought this would turn around but everything felt like it was reheated. The staff seems like they hate their job and on Father's Day there were only 2 other tables with people. I wish Michael Symon would be more involved because I can't imagine he would want his name attached to this .🥹

I really enjoyed the burnt ends and fries. But the highlight was the French onion dip served with fresh pork cracklins. They were still crackling when served and dip put them over the top.

Went for restaurant week. The porker is the better option for flavor compared to the chicken. I thought the sauce on the chicken overwhelms the whole dish. All I tasted was smoke. Salad was amazingly delicious and refreshing. Ribs were ok. Kinda dry without any sauce. Service was the highlight of it all. They kept stopping by to make sure we were good. Thanks for a great menu!
