Mama Bird Southern Kitchen offers some of the best BBQ brisket around, even impressing a Texan. The pit master and the waitress were friendly, but the portions varied. While the chicken and waffles were disappointing in size, the shrimp and grits appetizer was a hit. The macaroni and cheese was also delicious, but the chicken dish left something to be desired, with a lack of flavor and too much breading.
