We dined in at this Restaraunt on Sunday March 31, 2024, during the Lunch hours, we were seated right away, we were hoping to hear the live band but they were on break, the food was great, the salad was a little spicy, however the food was worth it, our waitress was friendly and attentive, it was a great family atmosphere, we will be back in the future.

We came here for the oysters but left with a pallet full of all flavors. The baby octopus was amazing. I got the molcajete de mariscos!!! Amazing!!! Kelly was our server ! She was beyond great! She was on point and the service was great!!! I highly recommend this place!!!!

EEOC Accuses Las Vegas Restaurants Of LGBTQ, --- Bias Source: law360.comAugust 26, 2023 Managers at two Mexican restaurants in Las Vegas made disparaging comments about gay employees and coerced female workers into having ---, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in a pair of suits Thursday that came as part of an agency crackdown on employment bias in Nevada. The EEOC said workers at Mariscos El Puerto and La Catrina Bar -- which are next to each other, have the same owners and share staff -- were also punished by owners, managers and supervisors with fewer hours, verbal abuse and other retribution if they reported any harassment. "Defendants knew or should have known of the hostile work environment," the EEOC said. "The ---ually charged and inappropriate actions and comments by the male owners/managers/supervisors were ubiquitous, open, frequent, and consistent in nature." The EEOC said in a complaint that a gay employee was denied a promotion from busser to server, with the hiring manager saying the worker was "too gay" and that it would be "embarrassing" for him to be a server. According to the complaint, he and other gay employees were also ridiculed with derogatory comments and offensive jokes, and a lesbian employee was physically assaulted and insulted because of her ---ual orientation. In another case, the EEOC said female employees were subjected to inappropriate comments, groped, solicited for --- and assaulted by management, co-workers and customers. According to the suit, managers and supervisors would rub up against female colleagues and expose themselves to women while making suggestive comments. The EEOC said other employees and customers would also forcibly kiss and touch the female employees, and the restaurants didn't take steps to prevent workers or patrons from harassing the women. "Defendants failed to monitor the workplace, failed to properly investigate and to respond to complaints, discouraged additional complaints from being made, and failed to implement necessary remedial measures to end the harassment," the EEOC said. "As a result ... the ---ual harassment continued unabated." When any of the employees complained about how they were being treated, managers and supervisors would reduce their hours or remove them from the schedule completely, withhold paychecks, increase verbal antagonizing and threaten violence, including murder, the EEOC said. According to the suits, many of the employees who filed charges with the EEOC resigned from the restaurants in 2019 and 2020 because of the hostile work environment. EEOC regional attorney Anna Park said in a news release that the agency "continues to see egregious ---ual harassment against vulnerable low-wage workers in the restaurant industry." "The commission will continue to vigorously enforce anti-discrimination laws on behalf of the most vulnerable workers," Park said.
