Had dessert here (ice cream sundaes) one late night it was pretty good and the service was nice and friendly. However, giving only three stars because when I had breakfast here it wasn’t that good. The French toast was flat and bland and the pancakes were dry, not so tasty. Bacon was pretty good, but the sausage was dry and tough. The server was probably tired as she didn’t seem to want to be there. This place is recommended if you want an ice cream sundae, but not recommended...
So, this is what all that rah rah was about! I finally got to try the FAMOUS oxtail soup, after many a nights that I have been too tired to go. I'll catch the next one I said, and catch it I did! We waited 30 minutes in line, which isn't bad apparently. Father and I had the oxtail soup, and mother so graciously shared her galbi. However, talk about a price jump! What happened to $13.99???? Sigh. Anyway, I guess i got my second wind because this was yum!!!
This place is a 24h Hawaiian Restaurant. I came here with a group to try the famous oxtail soup (served 11pm- 6am). There is a wait time so be prepared. The oxtail soup broth was flavorful and the portion size was moderate with lots of fall-off-da bone oxtail. I couldn't finish the whole thing, so I took it to-go and it actually tastes better the next day when reheated. The atmosphere and service was average (not the same aloha spirit-I guess just food inspired). For drinks...
