This is definitely one of those restaurants that I will return to. The service is amazing, it's like you went into your cousin's house and their mom prepared food for you. Excellent and fresh VEGETABLES, and they are very accommodating to questions about their culture and how to eat their food. The serving is to share, and a conversation piece on its own. My friends and I went here a few days ago and absolutely loved Merkato! The food was amazing and the price was reasonable. Now, don't expect a fancy interior. This is a very small family run place. This is a typical family style restaurant. Do not be in a rush. This is a place to relax and enjoy the company and the food. The waitress was very kind and helpful.

The food is amazing had the beef combo and veggie combo. Together the combos feed a party of four. This family Ethiopian restaurant has a lot of potential. It's a small venue which makes it great for a few friends or a night out with your significant other. What it lacks in decore the dishes make up for. Make sure you start your meal off with a few veggie samosas.
