We had tickets to Cirque du Soleil KA, which was starting in about 1 hour. So when we walked in, we asked if she could have us finished eating within 30 min. No problem! We ordered catfish and smothered turkey legs. She give us some fried okra & cornbread to tie us over until our meal was ready. In 10 min, from the time we walked in, we were eating. The food has a lot of soul! Portion sizes are generous. Yesterday, we got a plate to sample. This sample led to us going back today for individual plates. The issue was Soul Food Cafe advertises breakfast, but doesn't serve breakfast. The windows of Soul Food Cafe advertise breakfast and salads. I'm pescatarian and was looking forward to what was advertised. My feelings and stomach were hurt and disappointed.
