Metro Pizza Reviews
This location isn't temporarily closed. It's permanently closed. I've been going to this location for years. The pizza is still fantastic but I've noticed the service has slipped at this location over the last few years. When you mix in the fact that this part of town is a dump, I could see the closure coming. Good memories though.
One of my friends wanted pizza, not sure why we chose this place but I loved the pizza, very filling! Took a while for the pie to bake, so be aware, and if you don’t like crowds, we showed up between lunch and dinner and almost had the place to ourselves. Not everyone loved the pizza but I did! Would come back.
Best pizza ever! I just discovered this was Metro Pizza original location. It's a retro style atmosphere, you feel like you landed in the 80's with the neon and the Miami Voice colors, but everything is clean and the food is incredibly awesome.
Service was excellent too.

Metro Pizza offers an 80's-inspired atmosphere with a carefully curated soundtrack. Their menu features classic thin-crust New York-style pizza, expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The crust is crispy and well-balanced, while the pepperoni is cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable, with a meal for two, including sodas, costing under $30. This long-standing establishment is a must-try for pizza lovers, offering friendly service and fresh salads with delicious ranch dressing. Additionally, they have accommodated dietary restrictions by adding vegan cheese options. While the parking may pose challenges for wheelchair users due to the slanted lot, the restaurant remains a great place to enjoy a pizza with family or friends.
