I’m Polynesian decent and African American from the Bay Area I like my Pig Juicy with soaking in sauce I never had dry pig.
Beautiful restaurant too many hands handling one plate as well my food was passed around 5 times

Grand opening on St Rose. Really impressed. Great food. Super friendly staff. Met the owners. Just great authentic locals from the islands. And, it shows.

Kalua pig. Moist. Just enough fat. Chicken was Smokey and flavorful. Great macaroni salad.

If you want to be disappointed eat here. The food and menu is comparable to teriyaki madness and you won’t spend quite as much in fact TM has a much better menu. Very over priced and the shrimp tempura is not fresh mo bettahs even up charges for steak, Mac salad was eh not the greatest. The spam musubi was just on the counter and not in a warmer. Take note in the word “Style”.

I stopped by on my way home from work, excited to find a hole in the wall restaurant, as I always try to support new restaurants and local businesses. I walked in at around 530pm placed my order, they said the pork will be a short wait, just needs to be cut. I PAID FOR MY ORDER and told them i would wait. Waited and waited and waited, nothing. The cook then turned around and said the pork would not be ready until 7pm. Mind you I stood there waiting. And I could have gone somewhere else to order dinner and have gotten my food by now. I canceled my order and left at 615pm. How on earth can a restaurant NOT BE READY FOR DINNER?????????? NO PORK UNTIL 7PM????? REALLY????? AND THEN MAKE CUSTOMERS STAND THERE AND WAIT??? COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!! NEVER COMING BACK!!!

Great Hawaiian food in the neighborhood. You won’t leave hungry. Stopped by after school and is it possible the food is even better? The macaroni salad is to die for.

So disappointed. From Utah and love Mo Bettahs. It’s apart of my food group. Maybe I just got an off order? Everything from the rice to the chicken was bad. Rice was so mushy. The Katsu was not crispy just mush as well. Mac salad did not taste like normal. Couldn’t even finish. I usually finish every PIECE.

Manager took care of me. Told me they were training and that make sense. Usually it’s amazing.

Food is good but the portion size for the steak is ridiculous. I bought the big boy with 2x steak and chicken. They skimped on the steak, it was less than the chicken portion even though I paid for 2x and it cost extra! If you're gonna charge me more for steak, it should be the same portion as chicken. Total rip off

The food is fresh, simple and delicious. The meat is always cooked to perfection. There is so much food in a 2 meat plate i usually eat it for a few days or share with my hubby. Truly Hawaiian proportions.
