Okay. I think they're back to being great. Coffee was fresh and perfect. Eggs Benedict were pretty good too. Service was spot on! And friendly. Last time was a bit lackluster so we're happy to have had another opportunity to have breakfast. Love the Atrium room.
Overall it was a grade C experience. We go here for the view, and nostalgia. The food has gone a little downhill over the years. The steak frites cut of meat has a lot of gristle, so you end up not eating quite a bit. I ordered the ratatouille tart which had way too much chèvre and not enough squash and eggplant. The waitress started off a little rude, but was nicer when she found out it was our wedding anniversary. Throughout the meal there was a man in a suit pacing next to...
Beautiful restaurant. Service was impeccable. Steak frits delicious, but a bit tough (med rare). Fries, maybe the best I've ever had. Escargot were decadent as was the Champaign. It was packed and thus, very loud, so loud that it was a challenge to hold a conversation across the table. Would recommend.
