I have eaten at a few Mr. Chow's now Vegas and New York City. The New York City restaurant would be better. the service was impeccable. there was a strong attempt to upsell. had said the shrimp with walnuts was excellent The Mr. Chow noodles were better in New York City and the duck sadly was overcooked and dry. potstickers are good. overall. pretty good but not amazing
This was our second time here. We loved it so much when we first came that when we came back to Las Vegas we specifically wanted to come back to Mr. Chow. The prawns with walnuts appetizer was delicious, but the duck was unfortunately very dry. After the first course, we asked our waiter ( Martin) for a fresh plate and he argued with us that when you order a La carte - fresh plates aren't included. Quite rude in our opinion. Anyhow, the appetizer and bok choy side dish were good but I don't think we would go back.
Food was delicious, Beijing duck was almost as good as having it in Beijing, and the shrimp and Chilean sea bass were great. Also, the steak was super tender better than at the celebrity chef places in the resorts. The servers were great and we accidentally stayed 40 min after closing and they didn't rush us out. I actually felt terrible for the wait staff but they were so polite.
If you want Chinese food in Vegas, I'd recommend going to a hole in the wall. This place seemed more form over substance. They had a giant structure in the middle of the room that would descend once in a while. Wow?
The food is great but the service is impeccable. They go out of their way to take care of you. Captain my Captain!
The taste was nothing spectacular, the presentation of the dishes was very simple and on ugly, shabby plates. My dog's dishes were better.
The only redeeming feature was the staff's attentiveness; they were always very attentive.

Food was not worth it. They gave one chicken satay one stick for $16. Service and atmosphere were good but outweighed by the mediocre taste. If you like flavorful Chinese food vs generic taste, would advise to not come here.

We were so excited to try this place because of the reputation, but it was beyond disappointing. The best thing about it is the ambience, the super plush carpet, and the very friendly wait staff. The glaze prawns were the best thing that we ordered and even they lacked flavor. While the sauce they cover it with was good, there was still very little seasoning. I’m not sure why the noodles are recommended. They are very bland with absolutely no flavor. The pork sauce on top is more like dog food . Maybe the vegetable sauce would have been better. The green beans were a good choice. There is also a homemade hot chili sauce that was good. The old-fashioned drinks were also very good. However, I would not recommend this place, especially for the price point.

Overly expensive and not worth the price, tastes like leftover Panda Express.

Food was good, with great elements. Cocktails were wonderful! Portions are enormous, and it was really unfortunate that waiter didn’t advise of that. 2 course Mr Chow dinner is way too much for 2 healthy eaters. We would have enjoin so much more if understood the portions. Dining room is surprising and whimsical.

I’ve been going to Mr Chow all over the world for over a decade, one of my favorite restaurants, but the manager at the Las Vegas location is in the wrong profession. He should not be in hospitality, rude, condescending and genuinely unpleasant. The food here doesn’t come close to any of the other locations and staff are not managed well, it’s sad because Mr Chow is such a great place.

Pop open a can of Chef Boyardee & you will enjoy it more than the noodles at Mr.Chow. Obviously, the chef is either lost his tastebuds or just does not care anymore. We were staying at Caesar’s Palace and remembered very last minute that Valentine’s Day meant we needed to get reservations after looking at everything else in the hotel. Mr. Chow actually had reservations at 8:30, perfect!
Valentine’s Day menu, sign me up!
This was a very disappointing meal. The only nice thing about the whole experience was the moving sculpture and the wonderful wait staff & the French Chef that created a wonderful dessert. $550 for two people?! Wild!

Where to begin? Even though the restaurant was half empty, they made us wait for 20 minutes for our table on an ugly leather sofa in an area that felt like a suburban dentist’s waiting room. Once at the table we were met by a parade of various wait staff none of who were able to take our order as that could only be done by “the Captain”. When The captain did eventually saunter up to the table he could not have been less interested. Although, to be fair, if, like him, I had fore knowledge of the food that was going to be served I probably wouldn’t have been able to muster much enthusiasm either. The food was awful. The rice was so overcooked that resembled much more the porridge I had for breakfast this morning than any rice dish I’ve ever eaten. The only positive thing I can say about the green prawns is that they were, at least, green. However, this was, by far, the only interesting thing about them. The prawns were overcooked with all the flavour of raw tofu. The crispy shredded beef was so sugary that I will probably wish that I had actually been in a dentist’s waiting room. Then there was just the general ambience of the place. It was like a half empty nightclub. Music was really loud but also distant and its volume was not matched by the chatter of the crowd. This was a Saturday night in Vegas and probably the only half empty restaurant that I have seen since I’ve been here so I think that probably speaks volumes about the quality. We had a table in the middle of the floor. Every time a waiter walked behind me they grabbed my shoulders to the point where I had to specifically asked to stop being touched by the wait staff. The waiter to whom I made this request then made a big show of announcing to all that “sir” on table 14 didn’t like being touched. It was truly one of the most bizarre restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. And to pay $175 a head for the privilege of this awful food in this dreadful place with this abysmal service was really the last straw. Avoid.

This was an interesting spin on what we are used to… Prices are outrageous for the portions, but the food was still delicious. Our server explained how big the portions would be, but you really cannot call those “family style” at all. I was surprised by the very bland rice, but it pairs well with the other dishes. Service was fine until we waited… and waited… and waited to ask for our check. After 20 min maybe more of waiting, I asked the hostess to speak to the manager… which I ended up flagging down to ask for our check. I told him we had been neglected. He dropped off the check promptly, but he sped off so quickly, again we had to wait for someone to actually close us out. I have worked in fine dining, I am currently still in the industry… I understand when it gets slow, a server can take on more tables than regular and that is fine, but typically a manager would pick up the slack. Or handle an issue a guest may be having… The manager did not want to deal with anything, help actually close us out. Another woman, wearing all white helped close us out. Manager was a slender, bald, possibly African American male. We would expect that management would display a more welcoming experience considering the premium cost, but unfortunately that was not the case. For a restaurant at this price level, we expected a much higher standard of customer care. Please do better.
