Nanny’s Cafe is a quaint little sandwich shop that really surprised me in the best way. I had the Italian, and it was excellent. This is not your typical Subway-style sandwich. The difference is clear with premium freshly baked baguettes, meats, and cheeses that you can actually taste. Everything felt fresh and each was made to order. The women behind the counter (possibly the owners) were very friendly and genuinely happy to have us there, which added to the overall experience....

I ordered a spicy chicken pesto sandwich today. The bread was nice and crusty, the pesto was plentiful, and the chicken was scarce. Nothing like the picture on the menu or the sign on the wall. The three, very thin slices of deli chicken was unrecognizable with the chicken to pesto ratio. While I appreciate pesto, I would have enjoyed a sliced chicken breast as pictured so at least I could have tasted chicken. There was barely enough chicken to call it a chicken sandwich. For...

It's a sandwich shop. The food was fresh, the service was phenomenal, and I loved the modern yet slightly rustic decor. I'm big fan of supporting small businesses and this quaint little shop is a perfect example of why with their personable staff and quality food, simple but good.
