Not the best anymore. We've been multiple times to Nobu but this time the food was so underwhelming. Only the yellowtail Jalapeño was good. Everything else was mid at best. The waiter was so slow and condescending and absent for long periods during our dinner.
Before you dine at Nobu, you understand that prices are high. However, the quality of some of the items falls far short of the price. For example, a 2 piece crispy rice bite was gummy and priced at $28. The 6 small scallops presented in a steaming dish ($65) lacked flavor and seasoning. I have been to other Nobu locations and had a better dining experience. Hopefully, this was just an off night for the kitchen .
Server was great but the food was honestly a bit disappointing. The sushi rice was pretty bad and the crispy rice wasn't very crispy.
The food was classic Nobi. Fish freshness was great. Flavors were wonderful. It is overpriced compared to other restaurants of same quality. Also service was good but we were at e table with 7 and one person's main course meal came out much later than everyone else. It should be served at about the same time.
I was there a couple of days ago and it was extremely underwhelming. The presentation of the food, the flavor and the service was mediocre. Not bad, but not outstanding. I was expecting much more. Out of everything I tried, the only thing that was good was the salmon tartare. This place (unfortunately) is a skip.

The food portions were extremely small. The service was terrible. Our server tried to rush us out before we even finished our meal. I would never frequent this place again. The quality of the food was subpar as compared to the other NOBU locations in New York City. Very disappointed as a frequent NOBU patron.
Expensive, so expensive. When did this happen to Nobu? Great food but fortunately there are lots of great Japanese and Sushi restaurants.
Really awesome, great food, really nice staff, they are very accommodating

This is Nobu. You pay for the best and you get to devour THE BEST. This is not a restaurant with food. This is an experience. Every single item on the menu is perfectly made. Wow is all I can say. WOW.

We really enjoyed our experience at Nobu. While the dishes are small, the style of the menu and timing of plates I was stuffed! I did not expect to be. The food was absolutely phenomenal. A bit more than I would typically spend on those plate sizes but it is worth the experience.
We ordered the Omakase dinner and it was probably the best dinner we have ever had and we have been to Japan! Our waitress was fantastic as was all of the service. Definitely a dinner celebrating our 30th anniversary that we will never forget.
The place was quite busy. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. We were seated at two tables pushed together, but they were different heights, which was awkward and uncomfortable. The food was bland, tasteless, and felt carelessly prepared. Overall, a disappointing meal — definitely not worth a return visit.
The entire experience from the moment we arrived was absolutely outstanding. Service was amazing and each food item was delectable.
Food was very good. Omakasse was good but just a bit rushed. To be fair - we did mention we had a show to go to, but we weren't finished with one course before the next was brought to us.
