Between a 3 and a 4 star, ate at many Pho restaurants, small bowl with white noodles filled to the rim, low meats quality, hard to chew so I discard it.
Aye half way and realized I left me laptop in the car with a center has many previous incidents of cars been broken into. Pay and left.

Coming from So Cal with access to Westminster and the San Gabriel Valley Pho shops, my standards have become pretty high when it comes to Vietnamese food. Pho So 1 stood up to most. Can’t say better, but good enough. The service was very good too. my GF’s coffee was very strong, so they kept bringing her extra milk until she was happy. I tried the Bun Bo Hue with Oxtail which didn’t arrive spicy, which surprised me, but they give you the sauce on the side so you can add the spice yourself. I guess that’s a good idea, since I like it really spicy, but caught me off guard. Was good and hit the spot on a cold LV afternoon. My girlfriend ordered pho and didn’t like all the cuts of meat, but liked the broth. The cool thing is they give you extra broth if you buy extra noodles to go, so we had another meal when we got home!

Good food, plenty of tables and seats. The restaurant seems very clean and the service is very fast. I had a small mixed pho and the quality of the meet and noodles was great. There is also plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant I’m located in a shopping center, close to Chinatown. The prices are very reasonable and the portions of food are good for what you pay. Would definitely visit again when I’m in town.

Pho is okay, braised beef and beef noodle soup are terrible.
Paying by card will incur an additional 3% charge.
If you pay in cash, the money will not be returned to the customer, saying you don't have any money (coins). I can't accept it
My family went to this restaurant on the morning of 12/26/2024 and will not set a date to return

We decided to try this place because it was highly recommended. Nonetheless , it was full of disappointment.
Initially I ordered the Pork Chop with Rice and it ended up being terrible. I sent it back to the kitchen. Meat was old and dry. You can tell it was cooked a head of time and was sitting for some time. All they did was microwave it and served it. Fish sauce was so sweet, had to add three lime wedges to counterbalance. With that being said, I got a vermicelli with shrimp and pork as a replacement. Should of known, the pork was also dry and old.

Bun Bo Hue ended up being okay.
Pho broth was sweet to my liking.
Bun Rieu was sweeter than my liking as well and we had to add many like wedges to counterbalance.

I would not return here. Many other choices to get Vietnamese food near by. Not sure if they were having a bad day.

I Would Highly Recommend Pho Saigonese. It’s a bit of a drive but the inside of that place is gorgeous. From the presentation of food to the atmosphere of that place.

My son was sick. I looked up restaurant and this was the first one I see that caught my eye. Super quick service, atmosphere was surprisingly good. The music caught my attention off top. The small just noodles and broth was like a medium. Lol. My other son ordered chicken Pho and laawd!!! All the chicken that came with it was crazy!. I thought they made a mistake. I ordered the chicken fried rice. Need a little salt but with soy sauce and Sriracha it was good. Will definitely be my go to when I'm in town.

I recently tried the Pho Special and Bun Bo Hue at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience.

Starting with the Pho, the broth was bland and lacked depth, which is disappointing since a good Pho broth should stand on its own without the need for additional sauces. I ended up adding a lot of sauce just to make it palatable, which isn't ideal for enjoying authentic Pho. In addition, the Special ( Đặc biệt) didn't include any meatball, which was even more disappointing.

As for the Bun Bo Hue, the meats were not thoroughly cleaned, leaving an unpleasant old meat smell. The broth leaned too sweet and had a noticeable MSG taste, which overwhelmed the balance of flavors typically expected in this dish.

To top it off, the price felt excessive given the quality of the food. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.
