First time to the gold coast buffet. Prime rib was delicious. The mongolian beef okay. It was overcooked and chewy. The saving Grace was their desserts.The Mango sorbet was good. I later found out they had a Hawaiian Frost machine with Pineapple and Coconut soft serve. Amazing ???
It was just a very average buffet. The fish was only barely warm. The salad consisted of the white and yellow parts of the iceberg lettuce head (barely any green). Lots of food choices and variety. None of the food I had was outstanding. Felt as though it was not worth the price.
Has gotten better than the last time I went there. I ate there about 3 years ago. It was about the worst in all the Boyd’s Gaming casinos buffet. Still not on par with the Orleans buffet, but it is considerably better. The seafood is good. They offer peel and eat shrimp, fried fish, and baked fish and crawfish boil which seems to be very popular. The Italian cuisine is pretty good. Mexican dishes, and Chinese are pretty good also. My only complaint is a meager salad bar. Desserts...
