Great selection of grilled skews perfected on binchotan, you can smell and the taste the flavor from burning on the charcoal! Our favorite includes the pork cheek, pork skin, beef tendon, mushroom, salmon. The house special tastes very unique with Japanese plum, goes well with the Raku tofu. The Kamameshi salmon rice bowl on the secret menu is amazing, great when eating fresh or cold when made into a rice ball as leftover. You have to order ahead as it takes 45 minutes to cook....
No joke. I’m from Miami. It’s the best Japanese meal for this year so far. I enjoyed every single dishes I ordered. I ordered twelve different dishes, from cold dish to grills. My top 3 would be uni and okra bowl (the last pic), duck skewer, and outside skirt beef. I will absolutely come back again.
