Good atmosphere, though a bit noisy. Food was really good though!

Stopped in for a quick solo bite - shrimp dumplings and Mongolian beef. The dumplings were ok but nothing special and the beef lacked taste. Also to charge $6 for rice which didn’t come out steamy and fluffy is insane to me!

This Cantonese dim sum restaurant is located inside a casino. The poached chicken is fantastic, but most of the other dishes are quite average — especially the wonton soup. The frozen wontons lacked chewiness and were disappointing. Overall, it’s not worth going out of your way, but if you’re staying in the casino and don’t want to venture out, it’s an option. Service was very good, which deserves a mention.

This restaurant is a bit more casual than the others that surrounded at The Wynn, as well as being more affordable. Service is ok but the food is quite good. I especially enjoyed the congee and orange chicken. Not bad, but expect a more ordinary experience compared to some of the spectacular nearby options such as Mizumi.

It was amazing! Taste of food, service and atmosphere. I lived in China in 2012. And the taste of beef soup brought me back to that time.

Red 8 was a rollercoaster.

The dim sum tasting? Delicious. The soft shell crab with salt & jalapeño pepper? Absolute star of a dish and our favorite. It was crispy and wonderfully garlicky.

Then came the Dan Dan noodles… and wow, talk about a buzzkill. Bland, flavorless, and just sad. My husband powered through after basically performing a chili oil makeover, but I couldn’t do it. I almost sent it back. My husband ate it probably just to avoid the awkwardness. Just skip this dish.

Overall, I’d come back to try other dishes.

Singapore noodle broth is tasty. Garlic green vegetables were fresh and tasty. Expensive, but it is the Wynn. Busy place.

There was a man at the door in a bathrobe that was open with a large belly on display. He was let in although they have a sign that says otherwise. The woman at the front lied and said he would not be permitted entry. The manager also compounded that and claimed he put on a shirt. Where? In the middle of the restaurant? So he went from displaying part of his body to a full display? He should have been turned away at the start. In addition there's another rule that reserves a table at the front for a bill in excess of $600. It was empty but we were not permitted to sit there. Following the rules seems to be very convenient here. Hopefully that does not apply to food preparation and sanitation. We probably will not return to such a low class establishment.

Originally seated near kitchen — air smelled like wet moldy mop. Should have been our clue to leave. They happily re-sat us near entrance…smelled much better. The restaurant is beautiful but the smell dropped my atmosphere rating to a two. Food was very disappointing. Combination fried rice was greasy, the chicken and beef were over cooked. General Tso was like shoe leather - didn’t realize chicken could be so tough! Sweet and sour pork was way overdone. We were staying at the Wynn for our anniversary. Their menu peaked my interest and suggested we dine at Red 8 for anniversary dinner instead of a steakhouse. Huge mistake! It was so very disappointing you get better quality food at your local Chinese take out for a fraction of the cost. Surprised by the high ratings guessing they chose different menu items.
