Went to see Wonderboogie they r okay not great but all of the elderly patrons dancing now that was a Riot! I was a little put off by their CONSTANT request for tips by filling their boot they have on stage! I know Vegas is a tip town and I believe in doing so, very generously, but after every other song u r begging for tips, i get turned off and will not tip u!
The bands and singers at Roxy's are free and (other than infrequent open mic night) excellent quality performers. As a boomer, disco music is a true oldie but goodie and the Wonderboogie band on Sunday night is truly exceptional. The members are talented musicians who involve the crowd. They've developed a large following over the past 1-2 years as they've perfected their shows. I watch people of all ages and backgrounds stop and listen to a song, staying an entire set.

This place only opens at special events, check for times and groups, on new years eve 80s and the cowboy week for sure, country music live, other weekends very seldom, Sam's town is a good place to gamble on Saturdays after 8pm as busy as it gets and Sunday kicked back those days it pays more or the machines are a little bit more loose
