Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill Reviews
Visited 2/21/26. I'd say I want to "give it zero stars if I could" but negative stars would be more realistic. Less than zero! They aren't allergy friendly, and if you ask about it the waitress will scream through the window to the cook while looking annoyed. Once I finally figured out something I could eat (non dairy) I also ordered a drink and she said I'll see if the bartender has any of the mix. It's one of the few drinks on the limited menu of items they have. The bartender...read full review
The food was horrible. We had three separate dishes and the only thing safe to eat was the grilled chicken Caesar salad. Sammy should be ashamed of the quality of the food here at the airport, especially for the price we paid.

Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill is a casual spot inside the airport that offers a variety of food and drinks. The atmosphere is generally good, with some reviews praising the friendly service, especially from staff members like Theresa, who provides outstanding and attentive service. The restaurant serves classic items such as the Classic burger, crispy chicken fingers, and a Margherita pie, which are all described as satisfying and good for a quick meal. The food is served quickly, making it convenient for travelers, though some find the burger just okay and the chicken fingers very crispy with good-sized portions.
The restaurant also offers takeout options like pizza, which is praised for being portable and satisfying, and Mexican bowls with beef, sour cream, and guacamole, though the latter has some concerns about portion size and the use of pre-packaged ingredients. Prices can be a bit high, which is typical for airport locations, but the servings are generous and the drinks are strong and well-made.
However, the experience is sometimes affected by issues like dirty tables, limited vegetarian options, and staff shortages. Music at Sammy’s has been a point of contention, with some guests disliking the child pop music played, feeling it does not represent the restaurant’s vibe. Despite these minor concerns, many appreciate the restaurant’s charitable efforts and the friendly, efficient service that makes it a decent choice for a quick bite before a flight.
