I have never experienced such humiliating treatment at a restaurant in my life.

Yes, I took one puff of a vape inside the restaurant, and I immediately stopped after the staff reacted. I understand restaurant rules and was willing to apologize. But the way this staff member treated me was completely unacceptable and honestly shocking.

Because of the language barrier, I thought he was only telling me not to vape. Instead, he suddenly tried to charge me $1500 and claimed I had “agreed” to it. When I tried to explain the misunderstanding, he became aggressive, mocked me in front of my friends, refused to let my friend help translate, and treated me like I was some kind of criminal over ONE puff of a vape.

What made it even worse was that he pulled me outside alone and continued scolding and humiliating me face-to-face. I was literally crying afterward. I came to enjoy dinner, not to be publicly shamed and verbally attacked by a grown man over something that could have been handled with a simple warning.

The entire experience felt hostile, intimidating, and deeply disrespectful. There is a huge difference between enforcing restaurant rules and emotionally humiliating a customer. I would never return and would never recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and professionalism.

We had such a great experience here!
The service was honestly outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive — they kept checking in on us at just the right moments, proactively offered napkins, and frequently changed the grill without us needing to ask. It made the whole dining experience so smooth and comfortable.

A special shoutout to Iesha, who took care of us throughout the meal. She was so kind and thoughtful — all those small details, like checking in on us, offering napkins, and even asking if we wanted her to clear away our tissues (we both had colds), were all from her. It really made us feel taken care of. When the dishes came, she introduced each type of meat to us one by one and even showed us how to grill them properly, which we really appreciated.

We also want to mention another server (we didn’t catch her name — she had short hair and wore glasses). She helped us with ordering and was incredibly patient. She’s Japanese and took the time to guide us on what to order and how to best enjoy everything.

Another small but sweet moment — after dessert, my friend kept the wrapper because it looked really nice, and Iesha noticed and kindly offered to bring us another one. That was such a thoughtful touch.

Overall, the service felt genuinely warm and caring. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Amazing Japanese BBQ spot! The A5 beef was rich, tender, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Will definitely be back!
