As a working thriller and romance author, I’m spending a lot of time in Starbucks working on my next novel. The Starbucks at the LINQ Promenade is always busy in the morning. Fortunately, I showed up today before the crowd hit. I’m at an author convention at the Horseshoe Hotel, working on my next thriller novel.

Several conventions dump a huge number of people into this location, so don’t show up too late.

There’s just enough seating to keep the place interesting without turning into standing room only. They’ve got a nice big table where people can actually be a little social and connect. It’s pretty cool.

I sat at one of the smaller, almost bistro-style tables to enjoy my hot chai tea latte and double bacon smoked sandwich while jotting down ideas for my next book. I enjoy coming to Starbucks for the classic coffee shop vibe.

The staff is efficient and courteous. Everything is kept clean, and the bathrooms are accessible.

The location is perfect. It’s right on the LINQ Promenade. If you need your caffeine hit, this is the place to go.

Not very kind people nor neighborly to their fellow businesses. I used to buy coffee from here each morning, but one evening I asked to use the bathroom and was told it was for customers only. It’s OK to be courteous and I think their staff needs to be trained on that. Most of their employees in this establishment come across as arrogant or entitled. I find it funny that the business next to them actually allowed me to use the restroom. I wouldn’t feed a dog anything out of here. If you are going to spend 10 bucks on a cup of coffee, please choose somewhere else. These are not very kind people at all, and they need to be retrained on customer service.

I asked for my Blonde Vanilla Latte to be remade for the first time because it was awful. And it's more expensive than anywhere else 🤯

I've never had any problems with this simple drink in other cities. But here, on Sunday morning, they made it terribly. It tasted like water with milk, with almost no foam (you can even see it in the BEFORE and AFTER photos) and without the signature flavor. I couldn't drink it and asked them to remake it!

The employees were polite but worked slowly. Sometimes the three of them tried to do one thing and the process slowed down, even though they should have been in their respective places for a specific process.

And about the price. Why does it cost $10.65? Taxes are already higher here in Vegas, but you also overcharge for basic drinks! It's absurd.

I was floored by the GREED of this Starbucks location and their inconsiderate management and staff. On Dec. 24 around 2 pm my daughter and I purchased two venti brewed coffees, a mocha frappuccino, and a cup of tap water which was not free; it cost $1.00. I asked for a couple of ice cubes to cool down the coffee just enough to make it drinkable without burning my tongue. The young white male who brought our order REFUSED the ice cubes and walked away saying I had not paid for ice cubes!! (but had paid for a cup of water which did not come with ice). What a miserable way to treat your customers at this location ( 3545 Las Vegas Bldv. S, LINQ promenade).

Rude and Disrespectful
I simply asked for a refill, and the employee acted like I was the biggest inconvenience of their day. The attitude, the look they gave me—it made me feel awful. Asking for a refill is completely normal, and there’s no excuse for treating a customer like they’re beneath you.
I came in hoping for a nice coffee experience and left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Basic human decency shouldn’t be too much to expect.

Ordered Mango Dragon Lemonade and it was too sweet. Barista refused to add water and was charging money for it.
