Our first time in Vegas post pandemic and we had a long and early flight from Tampa to Vegas. We decided to hit up the bar at our hotel and met Alan the bartender at The Bar.
Spectacular service, great talks and unbelievable professionalism. Great drinks as well. Thanks Alan

Your standard Vegas casino lobby bar. It gets the job done. No complaints as service was quick and friendly. There are also numerous televisions and a DJ.

Small bar located inside Virgin hotel. The music was decent. Ambiance is good. When you take a room in Virgin hotel, you get a couple (buy 1, get 2) which can be used in this bar.

We are half way through a 6 night stay at Virgin Las Vegas and are extremely impressed. We’ve been to Vegas several times previously and decided to try the Virgin resort, a little away from the strip. On the first evening check in was smooth and speedy. We went to our room, a double Queen Suite with Strip View at Ruby Tower. We were immediately impressed. As you enter, there is a dressing area with large vanity mirror and two wardrobes. This leads to a lounge area with a four seater settee, two comfortable chairs and a couple of tables. This area also contains the fridge - which we did not take any items from. Next to the fridge is a shelved area where we stored nibbles and drinks purchased from the CVS store opposite to the hotel (this store is very reasonably priced and has pretty much anything u would need and is a 5 minute walk from the resort). On the wall is a flat screen tv. The next room is a bedroom with two queen beds, both very comfortable. This room contains another wall mounted tv and a wall unit. The bathroom is spacious with double sink, very large shower and large bath. The view from the main window of the Strip is impressive. The hotel itself is pretty quiet midweek but busier over the weekend. The pool is very relaxing with music played throughout the day - we had no problems getting three sun loungers together. The restaurants are excellent. The gym is excellent and even boasts a Peloton bike allowing you to log onto your account at home. The resort is a little distance from the Strip however we used UBER several times and it was $9 for the journey. I’d highly recommend downloading the Uber app - much cheaper and much cleaner than the local taxis. Overall we are very impressed and will come again.

The man at the check in desk was very unwelcoming. He was talking to us very monotone and just weirded us out.. We also kept getting woken up by the cleaning staff when we had so not disturb light on they still knocked and when they werent knocking they were banging stuff around cleaning neighboring rooms.
Nothing but problems with this place, my dog had an accident and they said they’re going to charge us and sent security after us… unhinged and insane for a “dog friendly” hotel, they said they state in their pet info guide they’ll charge but as you’ll see in the picture it does not say that anywhere nor were we told when booking or when checked in with our dog. there is also only ONE pet relief area which is small, full of roaches, located outside the parking lot, and on the entire side of the entire hotel for us so if your dog can’t make it all that way, you’ll be charged and harassed. psychotic. also room keys don’t work! and took an hour for them to bring our luggage up. pathetic excuse of a “pet friendly” hotel, will never be back.
Great location, the staff was professional and very courteous. We traveled with small dog and the Pet Friendly was beyond expectations. They provide a gift bag for your pet. Can order room service on your TV. The process way super welcoming from valet, bell staff, check in. We are already coming back in Oct
The Doorperson allowed us to park our car in front for check in, b/c it wasn't busy, and we appreciated his courtesy. Check in took a while since there were higher rollers than us in the speedy line. Resort fee ($50/day) was missed in the fine print of Armed Forces Travel site where we made our reservation (our mistake), so we were charged at check out. The lighting system was excellent in the room, as were the comfort of the bed and temp of the room. Unfortunately, the inside of the ice bucket lid was unclean. 5th floor hall carpets were unclean. Carpets were cleaned by the elevators our last night, but they still smelled bad with the fans on. The only icemaker on the 5th fl. was broken during our 3 day stay, so we had to go to other floors to get ice. Parking was free, Internet worked fine, housekeeping staff was exceptionally pleasant. Pool lifeguards were very helpful. Software not helpful on TV monitor. Yes, we know there are restaurants - no menus available online. No happy hours listed, no pool hours listed. Staff didn't know pool hours either. I expected more of the technology than was offered. This hotel is showing its age. Felt safe in the free parking structure. Elevators are fast and we appreciated the artwork on the interiors.
let me start with stay away unless you don’t care to get ripped off. I booked a 25 minute massage that they charge you 95+ a 20% mandatory tip. I had my massage scheduled for four o’clock. The masseuse showed up late and ended up starting my massage at 410 at 424 she turns to me time is up and this concludes our massage today. I ended up paying 115 for about a 14 minute massage!!!!! I thought this was a one time mistake as I come out i ask another couple who their massage was They tell me it was great but we paid for a 50 minute massage but it was less than 40 minutes.…. seems to be a systematic way of doing business there.
